In the light of the destructive liberal innovations that the sphere of national education has experienced in the past few decades and continues to experience, we can fully explain the increased interest of many Russians who are not indifferent to the fate of future generations and the country as a whole, to the Soviet experience.
It is no secret that in the 50-60 years of the 20 century, education, along with other areas of Soviet society, was at the highest level, as our opponents noted. However, instead of taking as a basis all the best and most advanced for that time, we, in fact tacitly losing the Soviet Union, lost the rich heritage and experience accumulated by the domestic education system. As a result, the presence in modern textbooks of errors, distortions, inaccuracies in wording and outright misinformation. If you look deeper - the deterioration in the quality of education, the upbringing not of future fighters and creators, but of consumers, the gray mass with excessive self-esteem.
That is why the issue of reprinting old Soviet textbooks has recently become relevant. The historian and encyclopedist Fedor Lisitsyn offers to consider several wonderful examples of books of the past, which in our time should pay attention to.
