SAA defeats major militants in northern Latakia

During the offensive operation, the Syrian army was able to seize strategically important territories in the north of Latakia province, defeating large militant forces. The 42-I brigade of the 4-th division of the SAA took control of the territory near the city of Kabani.

SAA defeats major militants in northern Latakia

In particular, the most important Tsuvaykat altitude came under the control of the Syrian troops, which gives the SAA a complete advantage over the militants within a radius of several tens of kilometers.

After capturing the aforementioned height, the 42 I brigade of the Syrian government army began an operation to liberate the city of Kabani from terrorists. At the moment, the CAA is on the outskirts of the village. At the same time, the militants use their usual tactics: they equip firing points and concentrate in residential areas of the city in order to be able to accuse the SAA of "shelling of the civilian population."

In the city of Kabani, militants of two terrorist groups banned in the Russian Federation are concentrated. This is “Khayyat Tahrir al-Sham” (formerly “Jebhat al-Nusra”) and the so-called “Islamic Party of Turkestan”. In the latter, there are many immigrants from Central Asia and the northeast of the People’s Republic of China.

Recall that the SAA a few days ago reported that they were leaving the truce, since the Syrian army was constantly bombarded by militants in Latakia, Idlib and Hama.

It is a pity that in the Republics of the DPR and LPR they can only dream of such a thing. Minsk is above all.

This is a completely different situation in Syria and ours. And the Minsk agreements actually stopped the bloody meat grinder.

At the same time, through them, you can "stock up" with products that are sanctioned for us. In this case, their "support" is not good for us. Yes, there is a rational kernel in your reasoning. hi
Nevertheless, combat experience is an invaluable experience. In Afghanistan, the Igilov rabble raises its head and soon in Asia it will explode not childishly! (God forbid that I was wrong) Who will push? Again our VKS?

Finish the broads. Into their sand, into dust. For all the years of humiliation that your country has suffered.
Get it, and the Russian Aerospace Forces will help.

    Apply - apply, apply - apply ...
Soon it will be five years since all sorts of opponents of the regime and just a militant are being "defeated". They even "won the final victory" four times with the subsequent withdrawal of the Russian contingent.
And what kind of "height" is that, what about its capture should be reported so loudly?
Mamaev Kurgan, Malakhov Kurgan, etc. thousands of nameless heights - that's what it was worth reporting about and we remember about them, and we still sing songs - At an unfamiliar village, at Bezymyannaya height ...

There were rumors that the entire offensive was the merit of the Russian special forces, and the Syrians had a lot of deserters. It seems that the Iranians and Hezbollah are also a problem - there is a "war" for influence in Syria. It seems that even Hezbollah withdrew most of its own from Syria, and the Iranians drove in Iraqi militants to replace them. But the situation in Syria is constantly changing, like the Turks again agreed with amers on a "de-escalation zone" on the border. But for the time being, everyone is silent about the details, which is strange.

Well done Syrians! Keep it up ... Then I think Israel is suddenly torn into a coalition of the US and Great Britain to "defend the Strait of Ormur" .. So, by the way, officially, and Syria will be bombed .. Hold on to Syria, Russia will not surrender you! It's a matter of principle ..
