Over 2300 military personnel of the Strategic Missile Forces undergo "survival courses"

Regular groups of military personnel numbering more than 2300 people, including about 50 military women serving in the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) under contract service as soldiers and sergeants, arrived at training centers and training companies of military units and formations of the Strategic Missile Forces to undergo intensive general training ("survival courses"). The military training takes place from July 2 and will end on August 5-day field output 12.

In addition to these military personnel, in the RVSN training centers, within a specified period of time, “survival courses” will be held around 200 military personnel of the Western and Southern military districts and other military authorities.

The program for the passage of “survival courses” by military personnel focuses on physical, reconnaissance, engineering, fire, and other types of combat training, including on the basics of survival. All this is necessary to teach the learner skills that will enable them to act skillfully in extreme situations, to emerge victorious in the most difficult situations that arise when confronted with an adversary. More than 80% of the classes conducted include practical testing of actions in the field, and at least 50% of all field classes are conducted using personal protective equipment and at night.

The main efforts during the field entry at the final stage of preparation are devoted to the practical development and consolidation of all the knowledge and skills gained during the period of “survival courses”. The field exit begins with holding marches across rough terrain with many natural (ravines, hills, etc.) and artificial (smoke zones, forest debris, etc.) obstacles, as well as overcoming contaminated areas of the area in individual means protection. In addition, in the field, soldiers are trained to break up tent camps, build shelters and dugouts with improvised means to accommodate personnel, make fire and extract water with improvised means, and prepare food in the field.

In total, prior to the start of 2013, “survival courses” will be held by 100% of military personnel under contract military service, all military units, formations and educational institutions. At the same time, training is carried out in the training centers of the Strategic Missile Forces deployed in the cities of Pereslavl-Zalessky (Yaroslavl Region), Ostrov (Pskov Region), as well as in the school of technicians at the Kapustin Yar training ground (Astrakhan Region).

About 10 training of thousands of military personnel under military service under the contract, in accordance with the new programs, is carried out for six weeks in five stages, from May 2012 to January 2013, which allows reducing the separation of military personnel from performing their official duties in military units.

Correctly. After all, the Strategic Missile Forces is one of the primary goals of a potential adversary in the event of aggression against Russia. And the ability of military personnel to survive in extreme conditions is a guarantee of the survival of the Strategic Missile Forces themselves and the strength of our nuclear shield

Quite right, before an attack on us, all power will be brought down, so to speak, on the shield of our country, sabotage sorties, assault operations, etc.

Iran tested a rocket capable of hitting Israel

Iran has tested ballistic missiles capable of reaching Israel. The launch was made in the desert. Several types of missiles were tested at once, including short-range ballistic missiles - "Shahab-1", "Shahab-2" and "Shahab-3". They are able to cover a distance of two thousand kilometers.

During the Great Prophet-7 exercise, which began on Monday, a missile attack was launched against a model of a foreign air base, erected in the desert in the central part of the country. There were also launches of Kiam, Fatah and Tondar missiles.

Ballistic missiles are the only means of Iran’s arsenals that can hit targets outside the national territory of Iran.

The Iranian military is expected to test aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles on July 4. The exercises coincided with the introduction of the "oil embargo" by the European Union against the Islamic Republic.

The decision to ban oil supplies from Iran to EU countries was made on January 23, 2012. However, the ban only concerned the conclusion of "new contracts for oil supplies." As for the existing contracts for the supply of black gold from Iran to Europe, the EU postponed their complete termination until July 1, 2012.

The Iranian missile "Shahab-3M" has a range of more than two thousand kilometers. This means that the Shahab-3 is a medium-range missile. The range of medium-range missiles is from 1000 to 5500 kilometers. This missile has a sufficient range to threaten Israeli territory, Western media noted.

On the night of September 28, 2011, Iran tested the medium-range missiles Shahab-1 and Shahab-2. These are the most powerful Iranian ballistic missiles, which, like Iranian short-range missiles of the Fajr (Dawn) type, have multiple warheads, but unlike the Fajr, they have a long range.

In addition, according to the Iranian media, in parallel with the launch of the Shahab-3 rocket in Iran, a two-stage Sejil rocket was tested. The command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported that the range of this missile is also up to 2 thousand kilometers.

Sejil is one of the latest developments in the Iranian military-industrial complex. The name of the rocket, which means "Burnt clay" in translation, goes back to a surah from the Koran, which says that Allah "sent" birds in flocks to the enemies of the holy Mecca, which "threw stones of burnt clay at them."

For the first time "Sajil" was tested in November last year. This missile differs from the Shahab-3 (Meteor) in that it has two, rather than one, stages, operates on solid fuel, and has a higher accuracy and higher deployment speed.

According to the command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the exercises began with the launches of short-range missiles Tondar-69 (Thunder), Fateh-110 (Winner) and Zalzal (Earthquake).

Well, Iran is great! They want to make a superpower out of their country. Oh, but they don’t have much time, Iran can block the strait in response to sanctions. Then the war will begin.

In my opinion, calling an ordinary field exit a "survival course" would not be worth it. Anyone who has taken such courses will confirm that these courses are taught in such a way that a simple contract soldier will not dream in a nightmare. Catering alone in various conditions will turn not only women, but also most of the men on the wrong side. So this is not the most important discipline in the courses. It's just that now it has become customary for us to present an ordinary, ordinary combat training event as something out of the ordinary.

Speech, in the article, is not about security units and their standard combat training, but about "" ".. 100% of military personnel doing military service under a contract, all military units, formations and educational institutions... "" "in order to instill in them skills to perform tasks unusual for the state, such as counter-sabotage measures, in order to protect command posts, control centers and other command and control services. Normal and useful procedure for expanding combat skills.

Now is not 80-90 years! The army is a little different, Russia is a little different! In my opinion, the main task of intensive training courses is to save the aircraft from a ballast which cannot run for 1 km, not just 5! To such an extent that contract servicemen write reports, weak in body and spirit, and soon they will take up officers!

I agree that the military should not be a "bag" under the contract.
But even now, there are reconnaissance and security companies at each "Ploschadka". At least these units should be more efficient. They are the ones who are responsible for the protection of the "Units" on the march and when stationary...
