Submarine K-3 - long-lived nuclear submarine country
This is the first nuclear submarine in our country, which was launched on October 9 1957 in Severodvinsk. At one time it was the most important achievement of the domestic industry. Its creation for the country has become as important a task as launching a man into space. This boat was originally designed as a nuclear submarine cruiser.
With its advent, the K-3 submarine made a lot of noise in the West. She was first talked about in the world when the Soviet submarine was the first to work ascent in the ice at the North Pole.
During the 33 service year, this ship was tested with water, fire, and copper pipes.
The submarine K-3 is still afloat, but without screws and engines. Submariners have been waiting for the third decade when their long-lived Leninist Komsomol will become a museum, as planned by the government.
The crew of the program "Military Acceptance" of TK Zvezda decided to support the idea of creating a floating museum, since the sea is slowly but surely taking it away. If nothing is done, the ship will simply die.
To prove this, the program leader, together with the operator, will plunge into the depths of the sea and show what the nuclear-powered cruiser actually looks like from under water.
