March 1999 of the year. All Serbs remember those days, and those who were born after, know about them from their parents, older brothers and sisters. The NATO armada launched an invasion of the European state, dropping thousands of bombs on the cities of Yugoslavia and sending hundreds of missiles.
The NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, which Washington declared an “outcast”, began on 24 in March of 1999. Soon - the sad twenty years of that event. Sad not only because of the very starting point, but also because today the Serbs are promised "all the joys of life" from possible integration into the very military bloc that ruined a beautiful country with a working people who wanted and wanted peace , good and peaceful development.
In the bombing of Yugoslavia, 14 countries participated, 60 thousands of military. In total, in several months, NATO aircraft made about 35 thousands of combat missions. And the pilots were well aware that their bombs also fell on civilians. Until now, not a single NATO functionary of those times has suffered any punishment for blatant war crimes against an entire nation.
Until now, in different cities of Serbia, you can see the traces of the bombing. Until now, sappers neutralized discovered unexploded NATO ammunition. This Serbian cross.
