Serbian cross. On the 20 anniversary of the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia

10
March 1999 of the year. All Serbs remember those days, and those who were born after, know about them from their parents, older brothers and sisters. The NATO armada launched an invasion of the European state, dropping thousands of bombs on the cities of Yugoslavia and sending hundreds of missiles.

The NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, which Washington declared an “outcast”, began on 24 in March of 1999. Soon - the sad twenty years of that event. Sad not only because of the very starting point, but also because today the Serbs are promised "all the joys of life" from possible integration into the very military bloc that ruined a beautiful country with a working people who wanted and wanted peace , good and peaceful development.

In the bombing of Yugoslavia, 14 countries participated, 60 thousands of military. In total, in several months, NATO aircraft made about 35 thousands of combat missions. And the pilots were well aware that their bombs also fell on civilians. Until now, not a single NATO functionary of those times has suffered any punishment for blatant war crimes against an entire nation.

Until now, in different cities of Serbia, you can see the traces of the bombing. Until now, sappers neutralized discovered unexploded NATO ammunition. This Serbian cross.

About those events and about what Serbia lives today, in a special report of TC "TVC".

    Serbian cross.
The cross is Serbian, that's just for us a BIG lesson, which can no longer be allowed. We are guilty of this tragedy of Yugoslavia and the Serbian people.

I would, dear, did not argue about our guilt. SFRY has never been a friend of Russia, like Milosevic. The country pursued an independent foreign policy, made good friends with the West without regard to the East.

Excuse me, my dear, but the USSR was the basis of the calm and integrity of the world built after WWII. And friend is not friend, this is the third thing, a certain balance has been reached, for which it has been paid with enormous blood and so on ... So Yugoslavia was not the last stone on the balance in this balance

Of course not a friend. And why the third thing, if the foreign policy of the SFRY was directed against the USSR ....?
65 years ago, on November 14, 1951, Yugoslavia (FPRY) and the United States signed a perpetual treaty on mutual security. It is known that on the basis of the aforementioned treaty, Bandera, anti-Soviet propaganda, all kinds of espionage things were transported from the West through northern Yugoslavia to Ukraine. More precisely, the corridor also passed through Hungary, which separated the FPRY from the Ukrainian SSR by 270-300 kilometers.
When Yugoslavia was needed as a counterbalance to the USSR and its Balkan allies (along the way, Stalin-Pro-Chinese Albania), it received enormous financial and military-technical assistance, especially from the United States. The West, as it were, did not notice the growing external debt, urging Tito not to dwell on the problem: they say, pay it back when you can. With the beginning of the Soviet perestroika, the West did not need to counterbalance Moscow. And Yugoslavia paid off - a bloody collapse.

Well, what is the fault of Russia, I don’t understand something? They wanted to inflict harm on the USSR, well, it doesn't matter if they themselves staged a "blood bath" ...

But would it be possible for NATO if Gorbachev didn’t ruin the ATS and withdraw troops from Eastern Europe, and Yeltsin didn’t ruin the Union, happily reporting to Bush about this event, immediately after the Bialowieza Agreements? How many people in Serbia, and indeed in the former Union, would have remained to live?
These figures also did not suffer any punishment, on the contrary, they erect monuments to them.

Correctly. That is why one of the living, still ear-haters settled in Germany, and the family of the deceased in Bose has mainly (and maybe completely) foreign citizenship. Patriots .... they all tried for the country .... only now, which country is here or there? wink

G (orby) fulfilled his peace prize. Stalin and Beria left a resource that can be sold. If only Yeltsin declared his readiness to launch a nuclear strike, there would have been nothing. But it was necessary loans.

Those. B.N.E. was supposed to start TMV, because of the people who concluded an agreement with NATO in the 51st year, directed against the USSR?
