Today, the combat capability and combat readiness of any modern army largely depends on large-scale scientific research of a fundamental and applied nature, on the introduction of breakthrough technologies into the defense sphere. That is why in June 2018, the Russian president signed a decree on the creation of the military technopolis "ERA" (the elite of the Russian army).
Located in Anapa, in the resort area of the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory, this “southern Skolkovo”, as it is often called in the media, should provide the most comfortable conditions for the effective work of military scientists and rationalizers.
Recently, the best graduates of leading universities of our country are engaged in cybernetics, robotics, and developments in the field of nanotechnology in this scientific center. For many, service here is a chance to start a new life.
Similar scientific clusters exist in other countries of the world, but they are civilian scientific centers. "ERA" will be the first and only military technopolis in the world.
The crew of the program "Military Acceptance" went to the newest complex to get acquainted with the technopolis infrastructure, combining research, sports and recreational and residential clusters, as well as to find out in which directions scientific research is being conducted there today.
