The captain of the ship "Nord" Vladimir Gorbenko returned home
According to the woman, Vladimir Gorbenko returned home last Saturday, he is doing well.
As previously reported, a Russian citizen, Vladimir Gorbenko, who is the captain of the fishing vessel Nord, captured by Ukrainian border guards and illegally detained in Ukraine, 26 January left about noon from home in Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, and disappeared. On this fact, Ukrainian law enforcement officers opened a criminal case of premeditated murder. Gorbenko’s lawyers did not rule out the involvement of Ukrainian radicals or the SBU in his disappearance.
In Ukraine, Gorbenko was accused of "violating the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine in order to harm the interests of the state." Under this article, he faces up to five years in prison. The case was scheduled for February 1.
The remaining members of the vessel "Nord", illegally detained by Ukrainian border guards, previously also returned to Russia. Two managed to fly through Belarus, another seven sailors were exchanged for Ukrainian. Fishing vessel "Nord" is under arrest in Ukraine.
