What is the MiG-35?

56
In Russia, tests of the latest multipurpose fighter of the 4 ++ generation MiG-35 are in full swing.

This is the most perfect representative of the entire MiG aircraft family. Designed by RAC "MiG", it differs from its predecessors in almost unlimited functionality for an aircraft of its class, which allows it to be used in various conditions and situations.

High maneuverability, equipped with a system of optical-electronic review, sensors detecting laser irradiation (and attacking missiles), the ability to refuel in the air, the presence of two-seat modification, built-in 30-mm gun GSH-301, as well as adjustable bombs KAB-500KKR - this is only a small list of special features and technical data of the MiG-35.

Employees of the 929 State Flight Test Center of the Russian Defense Ministry and the RSK MiG have already tested the air-to-surface and air-to-air weapons systems, as well as avionics. Today, there are active tests of the integrated control system of the aircraft.

A visual representation of the multipurpose fighter, briefly about what the MiG-35 is capable of, you will get from the video.

Interestingly, the Indians will rush for them? Once we have already offered them. In general, I am glad that Mig has not sunk into oblivion and continues his work.

Maybe they’ll be poised, even for sure .. you just have to put your combat units in the armed forces ... at least a couple of regiments.

Yes, I read an article about Eurofighter today .. I liked the article, but the commentators criticized it harshly, I don’t fly .. but I always liked planes ..
And I consider it necessary to compare equipment with Western models in any article, otherwise the topic is not disclosed ..

Yes, this video isn’t all objective. For example, it talks about the maximum ceiling of 16000 meters, but even the 29 is climbed higher. At the same time, in fact, nothing was said. In fact, much is simply visual and so visible: gun, OLS, UVT ...

The absence of radar with AFAR dramatically reduces the performance characteristics of this aircraft yesterday. Plus, a striking shortage of trained pilots and technicians.

in the sense that the categories are different:

Firstly, in the Union, in 8 out of 10 battles, between the Su-27 and the MiG-29, MiGs won ... Secondly, not much and different, the maximum take-off weight of the MiG is almost 28-30 tn, at the Su-30, about 36 tn. In terms of cost, the MiG is not much cheaper than the Su, about 15 percent. If they put AFAR Zhuk-ME, OES, modern electronic warfare, then the difference will be even less .. For other performance characteristics, it is also quite comparable. Such as range, speed, payload mass, etc.
PS: It has long been said that if the USSR had an engine of class F-404, the MiG-29 would be single-engine .. And so the twin-engine scheme affects the price tag .. unlike Grippen and F-16

The Mig-35 is now multifunctional and will now work on the ground as a smart and high-precision weapon, unlike the Mig-29 fighter. The combat load has increased, it takes more fuel, respectively, the combat radius has increased, and there is now air refueling.

Another important point ... Two plants (Lukhovitsy and Sokol ...) are ready for MiG 35 production, that is, we can increase the production of new aircraft for our airborne forces, in parallel with the production of Su 35, Su 30CM and Su 34 ... (on other factories).

Neither there nor there, there is no extra money. If only they again raise VAT to 40% or pension to 70 years. The state has no other incomes and is not expected. Then what is the point of spraying already meager funds? Why spend billions on all sorts of "Kurgantsy" and "Armata" instead of building up the nuclear triad? Whom are we going to crush with "Tigers" and "Kurgan residents"? And how much, for example, does Tu-160 aircraft cost now on the wing? If we proceed from the principle that a nuclear-free one cannot be avoided, then it is necessary to increase the triad, first of all, so that everyone has enuresis from this thought. Otherwise, with conventional weapons, Russia is simply bred into the role of guest workers from weapons. Want an example? Tank T-90. Why would Indians invest in a long and expensive epic of developing a good tank? Let the Russians do all this, and this is not what is wasted. And we will grab the ready-made. We just bought ready-made, and we are glad. And what did Russia get from this? The same T-90s are practically nonexistent, they travel all over the world, except for Russia. That is, the forces and funds go to the development of weapons for sale? And we ourselves cannot make the normal amount of TU-160.

More precisely to say so. Only. There are no others in fact. Modern wars are remote and highly accurate. You can admire the tens of thousands of T-72 tanks standing in warehouses and preserving as much as you like, but you need to understand that in the modern conflict they won’t get to it, because the KR will iron you. And they will be ironed, if you do not immediately grasp the nuclear club.
