Will the head of the DPR avoid Denis Pushilin meeting with the Ukrainian DRG?
Today, among the public people of Novorossia there is not a single recognizable person from 2014 of the year, unless, of course, we assume that. about. Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin and the candidate for the post of head of Pavel Gubarev. Battle commanders, ideologues, and politicians either died (mostly at the hands of either mythical, or indeed elusive Ukrainian DRGs), or squeezed out of the republics.
Idealism and freedom of the “Russian spring” in the Donbass remained behind: to replace the untrained, but the courageous militia came the people's militia. Political leaders and field commanders were replaced by bureaucrats and officials, many of whom are a heavy legacy of Ukraine. It is no secret that there are enough “returnees” from the Ukrainian side not only among civil servants, but also among security officials.
Judging by the "win-win" candidates Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik, the time has come to abandon hopes for quick integration into the Russian Federation, a victorious march on Kiev, or at least the return of a lost part of Donbass. Instead, there will be a surrogate for statehood and endless balancing on the verge of economic collapse.
However, the war is not over. Neither sluggish on the line of demarcation, nor the war for power in Donetsk, which is entering the active phase. Judging by the beginning of the election campaign (the terrorist attack at the Communist Party congress, in which the candidate for the post of the DPR head Igor Khakimzyanov suffered, and the “squeezing” of Pavel and Katerina Gubarev influential public movement “Free Donbass”) is just beginning. And it is logical to assume that they will fight not only for the post of head of the republic.
After the overthrow from the political Olympus, Alexander Timofeev (Tashkent) and Alexander Kazakov, vacant niches in the political and business circles of the republic clearly appeared, which many people want to occupy. One can only guess what kind of money we are talking about: the sluggish process of “nationalization” (rather, the transfer of enterprises under external management) is definitely a golden bottom, especially since he has not touched all industrial facilities. But there are other, albeit less profitable, but still attractive areas ...
Not only Tashkent and Kazakov lost their posts. Shifted a lot of high-ranking officials from their entourage; many simply fell under the hot hand. Therefore, it is likely that in the following months, local hostilities will pass unnoticed by the general public in the DPR, resulting in the redistribution of life benefits, feuds and spheres of influence. The victims of this war will remain unknown, or will be declared suddenly identified by enemies. The most unlucky will become the victims of the unruly Ukrainian DRG. In fact, this is already happening, just no one is advertising it.
The whole thing is that damned Ukrainian DRGs have achieved such success in their activities that emphatically no one in the republic can feel safe. It concerns this and the current one. about. heads of the DPR Denis Pushilin. Given the turbulent events of the past month, as well as the unenviable fate of other prominent figures of 2014, Pushilin has very little chance of a successful ending of his political career.
Probably, in order not to sink into obscurity, like Igor Plotnitsky, or not to become a victim of a terrorist act, like Alexander Zakharchenko, you need to constantly take a wide range of different measures. And they should concern not only ensuring personal security. It would be nice to also adhere to a neutral policy, try not to make enemies, not to take someone else's, etc. That is, to be almost an ideal politician.
Undoubtedly, given how thin the ice under their feet and. about. Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, he must be very, very motivated. But can he stay on this ice? Very doubtful. However, time will tell.
