Media: The Pentagon is working on the methods of biological war in the Baltic States
Outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) in various regions of Eastern Europe add up to a general picture of the landfill where the US military is practicing methods of global biological warfare, the agency's columnist writes Sputnik Latvia Alexander Khrolenko.
According to the author, the Pentagon assigns the Baltic states a special role in this test system.
As proof of his hypothesis, he cites several facts. Thus, in June, the ASF was detected in 165 pigs in Latvia, which is why sanitary services later destroyed about 20 thousand animals. And in Lithuania, they even offer farmers to abandon the breeding of pigs, since 41 outbreak of African plague has been recorded in the republic.
The observer believes that the occurrence of ASF foci in the Baltics looks very strange, since the virus is extremely unstable in the conditions of northern latitudes. A new property could not just appear in such a short time, but could be created in laboratories.
He recalls that outbreaks of ASF occurred almost simultaneously in Moldova, Georgia, Poland, and the Baltic countries. The author connects these events with the appearance of a network of American biological laboratories in Eastern Europe. In his opinion, the Pentagon in different regions is experiencing and studying the effect of new viruses on people (directly or indirectly), and also works out methods to undermine food security.
At the same time, the authorities of these republics may not even guess about the ultimate goals of the development of the American military - the laboratories are scattered in different countries and each of them is studying a separate issue. The overall picture based on the reports is formed only in the United States, at the Pentagon’s Center for Biological Research.
In addition, the state epidemiological surveillance services in the Baltic States and other post-Soviet countries are being translated into American standards, the author adds.
He also believes that over time, the frequency of biological aggression will increase throughout the world, because such technologies make it possible to repeatedly reduce the cost of the process of clearing living space and fighting for the natural resources of the Earth. Along the way, you can make good money on these projects by selling vaccines to allies and leaving a controlling stake of “viral shares” in your own hands, concludes Khrolenko.
