Today, a delegation of Russian deputies left the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s meeting in protest. The head of the Russian delegation, Peter Tolstoy, notes that he and his colleagues left the meeting room in connection with the consideration by the Parliamentary Assembly of two openly anti-Russian resolutions. The resolutions concern the issues of Crimea and Sevastopol, which do not give rest to parliamentarians from a number of countries "partners".

It should be noted that the draft resolution was developed by the Ukrainian representatives, who are trying in every way to push this “document” to the vote. The draft ukrorezolyutsii contains as much 17 requirements for Russia, including "the need to respect human rights in the Crimea." Such a requirement is being put forward by representatives of the country in which websites operate, preaching overt extremism, where politicians and journalists are killed, people are beaten for saying that they want to speak Russian. Maybe the Ukrainian delegation to PACE needed to give a mirror? ..
Another draft resolution submitted by Swedish friends of Ukraine. In this project, it is announced that human rights violations are carried out "throughout Russia."
Recall that earlier in the Council of Europe they demanded that the Russian Federation resume payments of contributions. The Russian delegation stated that this will not happen until the representatives of the Russian Federation in the international organization are reinstated.

We consider that in this case the regulations of our assembly have been violated.
