We urge the players of the national team to refrain from statements that may have a political interpretation. We warn Vida and Vukojevic, noting that their statements were not of a political nature and were a response to the Ukrainians, who expressed support for the former players of Dynamo Kyiv.

In FIFA, the video of Types and Vukojevic was called unsportsmanlike behavior, contrary to the spirit of fair play and remoteness of football from politics.

The defender of the Croatian national team against the background of a scandal that flared up said that his words have no political connotation, but “express their gratitude to those who supported him even in performances for Dynamo (Kiev)”.

Against this background, there were reports from Kiev that the radicals attacked a company of young girls and guys who in the Ukrainian capital decided to celebrate the successful participation of the Russian team at the World Cup 2018. The radicals, seeing the Russian tricolor associated with the flag of Ukraine, flew into a rage, snatched the flags and announced that now bury young people in the ground.
