In Voronezh, opened a monument to the Hero of Russia Roman Filipov

In his speech at the opening of the monument, Viktor Bondarev expressed his gratitude to the pilot’s parents who brought up the real Hero, and noted the great contribution of Roman Filipov to the full liberation of Syria. He reminded the audience that during the Russian military campaign in this country, the Russian armed forces had eliminated over 65 thousands of militants. Bondarev stressed that Roman Filipov will forever remain in the memory of millions of people, in the heart of every citizen. The next generations of Russian citizens will be brought up on the example of his courage, determination and dedication, the senator added.

The Su-25 attack plane under the command of Major Roman Filipov was hit by 3 February 2018 of the year over Syrian Idlib. The pilot managed to eject, but after landing he was surrounded by terrorists and died, having blown up a grenade of himself and several militants. By decree of the President of Russia Roman Filipov posthumously awarded the title Hero of Russia. A special distinction "Golden Star" was presented to the relatives of the deceased pilot in the Kremlin. The streets in Voronezh and Borisoglebsk are named after Roman Filipov; in addition, SU-25 and Sukhoi Superjet 100 are named after the hero.

If only all the Heroes of Russia had busts (or monuments) placed near the schools where they studied or in the squares of the cities where they lived. This would be an example for generations of how to love your homeland.
It is a pity that such heroes receive a gold star posthumously .....

Today is June 16, 2018 23 hours 46 minutes. The opening of the monument in Voronezh to our hero, the pilot commented on 15 people. Fifteen people honored on this information resource the memory of an outstanding Russian officer who gave his life for Russia! Who gave it so that generations and generations of our boys who will be brought up on your feat will know about it, Roman! I have no doubt for a second that it will be so. There are people who will be honored for centuries. At the same time, far more than 15 readers fought in a deadly battle on the topic of pension reform! Of course they have a right to it. Of course this is important. But only I won’t take part in this anymore! Different people in life have different priorities and different worlds in which they live. For Roman Filippov, a Russian officer, this world was primarily filled with love for the motherland! He loved Russia and went into eternity. For him, it was a priority and not comparable to the rest, albeit also very important. Thanks to such people, Russia is also alive and wins!

Truly God's providence is that such a courageous act of our Warrior became known! His last words became known! Roman accepted his last battle, as befits a Russian officer! And of course, this is an example to all of us. A deep bow to his parents! Condolences to the family and eternal memory to the Hero!

Such heroes must LIVE !!! And do not die in a foreign war With incomprehensible Arab freaks By the way, no one answered personally to Russia for his death. I would like to see what the hated Americans would do for the similar with their pilot

First, a fellow countryman was framed, and now his wife is admiring the monument instead of a living husband. And people ask - who gave the order, who suffered the punishment, who had at least one asterisk flying off, and in response - silence.
