Hundreds of thousands of photos ... Vladimir Putin led the procession of the "Immortal Regiment" in Moscow
94
The participants in the public action "Immortal Regiment" began the march through the center of the capital, along the thousands-strong column of the "Immortal Regiment", shouts of "Ura" rolled.
The participants of the action carry signs with images of their relatives who fought in the Great Patriotic War, flags of Russia and the Soviet Union. Many of them are dressed in the uniform of Soviet soldiers, infantrymen, and pilots.
People of different ages came to the rally, among them there are many children. Almost all participants have St. George ribbons tied, many flowers, they carry balloons, release them into the air.
In 2017, a similar action in the capital already included 850 thousand people. It seems that a new tradition of celebrating Victory Day has appeared in the country and in Moscow. This suggests that despite the fact that the veterans of the Second World War remain less and less alive, the memory of the heroes does not decrease.
