From 2 to 5 in May, within the framework of the International Treaty on Open Skies, a team of inspectors from Turkey and the United States will conduct a joint observation flight over the territory of the Russian Federation on the CN-235 observation aircraft.

The aircraft and the equipment installed on it underwent the necessary international certification, in the procedure of which the representatives of Russia also took part.

The flight will take place according to the route agreed with the Russian specialists, who on board the aircraft will monitor compliance with the regulations and agreements on the use of surveillance equipment.

There is useful information, namely: it becomes absolutely clear that at the time of flight there is nothing interesting on this route recourse
The search area for "this interesting" is narrowing, and taking into account our territory, it is much more profitable for us laughing

The International Open Skies Treaty, under which aerial inspection is carried out, was signed in Helsinki in 1992 in order to verify the declared data on armament and deployment of troops another country.

I have a question! Is this possible at all?

They fly over the bases of the Strategic Missile Forces, earlier on the "Kronakh" (special construction for launchers) we remember the roof opening. In general, there is a schedule of such flights, we have already discussed this topic here on the forum, we fly over the United States, they are above us.
Actively announce the Tu-214ON - a plane for observation flights over the territory of countries participating in the Open Skies program. By the way, an interesting aspect is connected with this program. Under the terms of the contract, aircraft must use strictly defined types of equipment for observation. They allow classic optical cameras (photo, video), infrared systems and side-view radars. Limitations are imposed, including on the available maximum resolution.
The agreement defines the maximum number of flights that each country must perform annually. As a rule, this is about 100 flights. Russia made 43 flights over the territories of other treaty countries.

Smolensk is a fortress city, who owns Smolensk - he owns Moscow. We need to strengthen areas with well-equipped airfields, from where they can take off the B52 and UAVs. A hypothetical war with the Russian Federation will last 2-3 weeks. Think for yourself the population has not a single pistol))) And the warehouses are being intensively destroyed. Anyway, nobody will risk using nuclear weapons ((((

who remembers the story ... The Germans before the attack of the Soviets for 2-3 months persistently studied geography, security bases, warehouses and road conditions !!! Especially in the north. In any case, the Americans will use the effect of surprise. GRU - disbanded, air defense - understaffed. After 2-3 years, our army should be 80% ready, now (IMHO) no more than 30%. This year, the maximum is next. Iran is a snag for us ...
