The Arctic version of one of the most effective air defense systems in the world, Tor-2M, completes the first test cycle. Throughout the year units of the North fleet should arm themselves with a new complex.

"Tor-М2DT" was developed specifically for the day of service in the conditions of the Far North. The letters "DT" indicate that the air defense system is installed on the basis of all-terrain vehicle DT-30 "Vityaz". No need for roads for this 30 ton machine. In Russia there is hardly such a place where this unique all-terrain vehicle could not drive.



The Tor-2M SAM system is one of the few complexes that is able to work on targets on the go. This provides a constant cover for military equipment, including on the march. Sixteen ready-to-launch missiles are capable of intercepting any aerodynamic targets at a distance of up to 15 km. At the same time, Thor-2M is capable of firing to 4 targets.
