“In order to clarify the circumstances, an engineer was invited to the premises of the checkpoint, where he suddenly grabbed an F-1 grenade, pulled out a check and demanded his civilian passport be returned,“ otherwise he will blow everyone up, ”the spokesman said.
The document was returned to him and, while taking precautions, was escorted from the premises, but at the exit they tried to take the grenade from the builder. And then the offender threw her under the first car approaching the checkpoint.
“The driver of the car, a former policeman, jumped out and covered the deadly object with his body. Fortunately, there was no explosion, ”the spokeswoman continued.
Later, when riot police arrived at the place of emergency, it turned out that the grenade was not real, but only a model. This is established explosives.
