Shoot down in motion: what can the newest "Tor-M2"

12
Tor-M2 was adopted by the Russian Armed Forces already in this decade, which makes it one of the most modern air defense systems.

The main objective of the Torah is the fight against low-flying objects such as cruise missiles, as well as with air-to-ground weapons. The complex is able to effectively repel massed rocket-bombing strikes and operate in the conditions of active electronic countermeasures.

"Thor" provides a cover for a group of troops, including on the march, within a radius of 15 km. ADMS is able to detect up to 48 targets, take 10 of them on an escort and shoot 4 targets simultaneously. At the same time, combat vehicles are able to exchange data about the targets among themselves.

Our main geopolitical opponent of the United States (and NATO as a whole) is not armed with similar air defense systems, which makes Thor unique in its kind.

Well, why? For example, I “cited” the data indicated in the technical characteristics of the “product”. And with regards to “a little, a lot,” you can find “samples” with the same overall weight and weight characteristics, but with even greater values in “range and height” .... (for example, from Israel)

Manufacturers should expand and refine the range of air defense systems. For example, it would be nice to create a lighter version without rockets that can work with the upper floors of buildings. The weight of the existing one, not all ceilings will withstand.
The marine version of the TOP will also be very helpful.

The ZhDPU version for carpet feeding of launch containers, for covering industrial centers from a massive raid.

      Any whim ...
Specialists of the Kupol enterprise, which is located in Izhevsk, but is part of Almaz-Antey, managed to remove the Tora combat module from its tracked chassis and create a new mobile complex. It can be installed anywhere: on the roofs of high-rise buildings, on trailers and any wheeled chassis, on railway platforms. Further: https://news.rambler.ru/weapon/36169911/?utm_cont
