The Ministry of Defense reports that the body of the Russian pilot Roman Filipov who died in the province of Idlib has been delivered to Russia. It is known that Major VKS RF, posthumously presented to the title of Hero of Russia posthumously, will be buried in Voronezh. Recall that earlier the administration of the 85 school in Voronezh, where Roman Filipov studied before 2001, took the initiative of assigning the school the name of the pilot-hero who died in a battle with terrorists in the Syrian Arab Republic.
Also on the school building in Voronezh in the near future, a memorial plaque may appear in memory of the major of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Roman Filipov, who was piloted by the Su-25 attack aircraft attacked by militants using MANPADS.

Russian military intelligence, in collaboration with Turkish colleagues, the body of the heroically dead 3 of February in Syria, the ground attack pilot Major Roman Filipov, was returned to the Russian Federation. The funeral ceremony of Major Roman Filipov with military honors at the request of the family and parents of the Russian pilot will take place on February 8 in Voronezh.
Earlier it was reported that Roman Filipov, after studying at school, graduated from the Krasnodar Higher Military School of Pilots. He served for several years in the Far East. He was one of the winners of the competition "Aviadarts".
