"Russian was very close." New videos of Russian EP-27 by Russian Su-3

61
The Pentagon has published new footage with the interception by the Russian Su-27 fighter of the American reconnaissance aircraft EP-3 Aries. The interception, which is more logical to call escort, took place over the Black Sea - south of the city of Yalta. Press Service of the 6th fleet The US Navy reports that escorting an American aircraft by a Russian fighter lasted at least 2 hours.

On the eve of the Pentagon published footage of the flight of the Su-27 a few meters literally in front of the nose EP-3 Aries. In the United States, they stated that "the Russian plane was very close," and this is "unprofessional and dangerous, since the American board hit the jet."

Now the US military has decided to publish at once several video escorts of the Russian Su-27 reconnaissance aircraft in the sky over the Black Sea in the Crimea region.

The Pentagon notes that the Su-27 moved parallel course - often at a distance of about 1,5 meters from the EP-3.

New batch of videos from the USA with "Hollywood" angles and "video replays":

Recall that the US State Department called on Russia to abandon "this method of intercepting American aircraft."

Yes, they went to catch a butterfly farm! As if we were brazenly near California or Washington, fly at least 20 times a month, and even show that we are not allowed to take photos from a small height of sharks in the water!

Not a bad option, and to shoot heat traps after a fuel dump, in general, it’s interesting that ours can shoot heat traps in P-8 Poseidon engines?

          hi

The presence of a foreign aircraft at such a distance, from the border, is an excellent screen for radio waves and a source of noise interference. So it reduces the intelligence function of the reconnaissance aircraft to almost zero. Great way to fight. Therefore, it "hung" for almost two hours.

And here I have your comment. The question caused me: How safe is it for our pilot to stay in such close proximity to a reconnaissance aircraft with a powerful radar? Is there any harm to health? Does the fuselage and glazing of the cockpit screen fighter crew from microwave radiation? Specialists, please answer.

In this case, in my opinion, there is no radio hazard. A scout does not deal with powerful locations. Rather, a bearing and wiretap. This is not AWACS.
And the locator, I think that this is not more dangerous for a pilot than flying in a formation. Own fighter locator "shines" constantly and is much closer.

The stripes wanted to try to track the frequency change algorithm on themselves, using radiation detectors, and here the SU-27 knocked them all the work, although in fact in the late 80s they were already able to record from long-range radar satellites!

So, why so far away from your shore? It’s simple - they were on the way, and in the sky the movement is intense and the faint of heart are asked not to worry.

I sell for what I bought ... in the 80s of the last century, our Bears patrolled somewhere close to America ... everything went as always, fighters flew in and started flying around ... everything was as always ... and then one of them breaks down and begins to twist the fortress around the car ... the crew clenched its teeth and kept on the course ... he was furious for a long time, exhausted all his nerves ... they arrived at the base, exchanged opinions about the departure ... here in conversations he met the arrow of the stern, it was him only the second flight ... like you saw fighters ... they saw ... and the fact that the pilot is black ... and that ,,, ??? so I showed him the shafts of shoes, a poke like you are as black as she is ... and then he started spinning around us.

What do they offer? Let the scout in the swap course and give the afterburner? Its airspace and bring down what for?
Or was it necessary for the dryer to stand ahead of the scout at 15 meters and give fast and furious?

Are there any of the military jurisprudence experts? One idea came up.
    - Let the UAV get closer
    - carry out a control interception,
    - turn the trajectory of its passage into our territory,
    - deploy a competently scheduled performance to intercept the device in case of unauthorized crossing of the border,
    - put him "where necessary", making the situation as necessary for the landing of technical equipment,
    - shielded to avoid the transmission of geolocation data,
    - talk with the representative country that launched it, with a “trump card” in hand.

PS: If they refuse to talk constructively - to analyze it by technology.
You can even transplant "your" filling on it and give L / DPR for reconnaissance.

PPS: If such a method is legally justified, then this approach will make “partners” think deeply before launching something like this. Although they can go there not weak charge / chemistry / tactical. Set nuclear weapons / biohook / spoons with holes for non-removability.
