Legendary "Ilyushin" will lift into the sky new aircraft

Today, Ilyushin Design Bureau is loaded with more than 100%. Over the past few years, the design offices have begun preparing for the release of new aircraft. One of them is a descendant of the legendary IL-76.

Externally, the IL-76MD-90А is similar to its predecessor. However, in addition to new communication systems and flight-navigation complex, more modern engines are installed on it. Due to this, the flight range and payload increased to 60 tons. Under the contract, the Ministry of Defense of Russia should receive these military transport workers 39.

A promising light transport aircraft of the Il-112В class is also on the way. The engines for it are already being tested on the basis of the IL-76LL flying laboratory.

Civil projects are being developed on Ilyushin. This IL-96-400M is a new generation of wide-body long-haul airliners, and the small IL-114 is designed to serve regional lines.

    IL-96 is a wonderful car. You can get on its basis a modern liner. Composite wing, remotorization for two PD-35, modern avionics. Cheap and cheerful.
