Legendary "Ilyushin" will lift into the sky new aircraft

Today, Ilyushin Design Bureau is loaded with more than 100%. Over the past few years, the design offices have begun preparing for the release of new aircraft. One of them is a descendant of the legendary IL-76.

Externally, the IL-76MD-90А is similar to its predecessor. However, in addition to new communication systems and flight-navigation complex, more modern engines are installed on it. A promising light transport aircraft of the Il-112В class is also on the way. The engines for it are already being tested on the basis of the IL-76LL flying laboratory.

Civil projects are being developed on Ilyushin. This IL-96-400M is a new generation of wide-body long-haul airliners, and the small IL-114 is designed to serve regional lines.
