Saakashvili requires Poroshenko to immediately resign. It was noteworthy that Saakashvili recorded an appeal to the current president of Ukraine against the background of three flags - Ukraine, the EU and the Right Sector (* extremist organization banned in the Russian Federation).

The events of the last days make me write you an open letter. Our relationship began as a friendship. But today we have reached a state where we are on different sides of the barricades. Not only political, but I would even say - ideological. And I understand that this letter is unlikely to change anything in our relationship.
Last week, after consultations with the ambassadors of the friendly countries of Ukraine, I sent you a personal note in which I suggested going on to the negotiation process. I have confirmed that I am ready to talk with you or with your representative. Agree on the future fate of Ukraine and on the prevention of destabilization of the situation in the country. Only this can be the subject of our arrangements. Only the fate of Ukraine today is really important. Believe me, as an experienced politician who participated in more than one revolution. This is the Rose Revolution in Georgia, the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine. Both I and you perfectly see that the political crisis has brought Ukraine to the brink of very serious dramatic events, which I sincerely wanted to avoid.
That is why in the last letter I offered you to look for ways to solve the conflict together. But instead you published my personal note to you. I'm not against. There is nothing in it that I want to hide. But by the same token you showed that you have no honor.
You have not replied to this email. However, your administration organized a provocation near the October Palace. I admit that I fell for this provocation. For this, I have already apologized to my supporters and all those who became unwitting participants in this provocation — visitors to the October Palace and employees of the National Guard of Ukraine who were ordered to be there. And I will bear her political responsibility.
Your provocation was very simple. Someone from your environment misinformed my comrades, in the October Palace we were provided with several rooms to create a coordination headquarters for the release of volunteers participating in the ATO detained during protests at the parliament. I called people to go to our headquarters. Do not storm, do not break or fight. When I saw that the security forces were waiting for us in October, I made every effort to prevent collisions. And you were hoping that they would be: as it turned out later, the National Guard was at the palace an hour before the start of our rally.
You made my letter public, accusing me of lying. Allegedly Saakashvili was talking about peace talks, while he himself went to storm Oktyabrsky when a concert was held there.
Therefore, today's letter will be open. Let us judge all those who read it.
I firmly believe that Ukraine is in a difficult position.
It took me a long time to fully understand what was happening. It is already obvious to everyone that, as President, you are not going to enter history the founder of new Ukraine. Most likely, you will become the biggest disappointment and anti-hero for Ukrainians.
You do not want to carry out the reforms vital to Ukraine. You basically don't believe in them. For you, Singapore, Georgia, Israel, Romania, South Korea, and Poland have not become successful examples. Where at another time, other politicians carried out the necessary reforms. They showed that any country can find a way out of the worst situation. To make a breakthrough from poverty to prosperity even in times of war, thanks to the efforts of politicians and the iron political will of wise statesmen. Become a strong country, able to resist any aggressor. Become a country that can lead the world rankings in the fight against corruption, in terms of press freedom, ease of doing business, and be at the forefront of civilizational progress.
It turned out that you do not care. And I was very mistaken when I believed that you invited me to Ukraine to help you build such a country. The only thing you really care about is your billions. And for them you are ready to make any sacrifices, manipulations and lies.
But this is not what I want to dedicate my letter to. You are very mistaken, considering me as your main threat, and for a year now you have been wasting your strength to fight with me. You thought that after my resignation from the post of chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration, they would quickly forget about me. You took care of this in advance by forbidding large channels to communicate with me. But I began to run a program on the channel ZIK - the only one who agreed to work with me. The program watched millions of viewers.
After that, you solved the problem with me in another way, taking away my Ukrainian citizenship. But I found the courage to return to the country and fight for my rights in court. It is surprising for me that by arranging such actions against me personally and other political opponents, you do not understand how much reputation you are losing in the eyes of the world community. Or do you think that they see nothing there?
As a former president, I firmly know that without the support of society inside the country and without the support of our western partners, you will not be able not only to carry out reforms, but even to govern the country. Another thing is that you don’t need reforms.
