In Primorye, at the Sergeevsky training ground, the artillery units of the motorized rifle brigades of the combined-arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) began to perform the tasks of the final stage of camp camps. During the camp gathering, the servicemen made multi-kilometer marches in a combined way, worked out the issues of combat coordination of calculations and batteries. Gunners of combined-arms brigades solved firing tasks with live firing with direct and semi-direct fire, from closed firing positions using various types of ammunition.

When performing combat firing with self-propelled howitzers “Gvozdika” and “Akatsiya”, Grad, Uragan multiple rocket launchers and mortars, single and group targets were struck. Until the end of the camp, the gunners will have to perform even more 250 tasks of varying complexity.

In total, more than 1200 military personnel and about 500 units of artillery weapons, military and special equipment take part in the performance of combat training tasks at the Sergeevsky range.

In the current academic year, in accordance with the plans for combat training, the number of field exercises and exercises with live firing in the general military army of the Higher Military Training will increase by 15%.
