Bankruptcy lawsuit filed against Tractor Plants

65
Vnesheconombank (VEB) filed a claim for bankruptcy of the Tractor Plants Concern (KTZ), reports RBC.

Bankruptcy lawsuit filed against Tractor Plants

The amount of the claims of the bank is 68,5 billion rubles. The application was registered on October 23, the case will be considered by the Arbitration Court of Chuvashia. Date of the first meeting has not yet been scheduled.

The press service of Rostec said they support the actions of VEB.

Today, the recovery procedure is the only way to overcome the crisis and normalize the work of problem enterprises,
noted in the corporation.

The company also reported on 3's priority tasks: “to eliminate the disruption of the state order, to ensure social stability (about 20 thousand people work at KTZ) and to lay the foundation for the further development of assets”.

The press service added that today "several scenarios for the withdrawal of enterprises from the current state are being worked out, they are all positive."

The head of VEB, Sergey Gorkov, said in early October that he would adhere to the "default strategy" in relation to KTZ.

Now our task is to ensure, nevertheless, that the plants do not stop, work and continue their activities,
noted Gorkov.

Earlier it was reported that KTZ debt exceeded 85 billion rubles. In March, the Ministry of Industry and Trade decided to transfer the military assets of the concern, the Kurgan Machine-Building Plant and the machine-building company VgTZ, under the management of Uralvagonzavod.

The state regains control of strategic enterprises, although in this case it is not particularly critical. Having credited and went bankrupt. And the plant will continue to make armored vehicles without stopping. Re-issue documents for a different submission, that's all.

Let's answer. In 2007, when he worked there as a shop manager at the Cheboksary Tractor Plant, 90-100 tractors were produced monthly, 10 people worked. In 000, there were already 2011 left. Now the plant operates on a part-time shift and part-time basis. This chakhorda has been going on for a long time, the plant has huge debts for electricity, electricity and salary. And the plant has really been bent for a long time. Employees seemed to be promised employment, but who and what kind of salaries are naturally not spoken about. And you, comrade Petrov, would first have to delve into the situation so as not to flog nonsense here

What makes you think that KTZ is a state-owned enterprise?
"In the summer of 2016, the owners of KTZ Mikhail Bolotin and Albert Bakov proposed that the Russian wills reorganize KTZ by transferring military assets and most of the civilian assets to the state."

Yes, this KTZ along with BMP does not have competitive products, everything else is on the market, UVZ, ChTZ and so on produce a variety of competitive products, and so KTZ includes six plants, they got loans, but they can’t give back, so as there are no orders for products or they are scanty.

In Chuvashia, two factories, or rather, even three factories belong to KTZ Mr. Bolotin. This is the Cheboksary Tractor, though without associated casting and tooling enterprises, which have long been withdrawn to separate enterprises. This is the Cheboksary Aggregate, which fell under the grasping paws, because apart from the production of castles, he did not find himself in this life. And this is Kanashsky Car Repair, now called “Promtractor Wagon”, it seems to have earned, but still in the pose of a broken birch, received an order for the manufacture of 5000 gondola cars and wagons of various types.
PS The business model of Mr. Bolotin is not entirely clear. In the tractor market, it competes with the Chelyabinsk tractor, though in a more powerful segment, with Liebherr, Huyndai, Caterpillar, Comatsu and the like. On the market for wagons with UVZ and the same new factory in Tikhvin. In principle, it does not matter who the owner of the plant is, if only people would work.

I always wondered how if there is a plant, workers, engineers, machine tools, equipment that produces products, you can go bankrupt. After all, leadership does not play cards, and does not run around Paris for the woman he loves, spending millions, in fact? And the workers, it seems, do not lie in stacks under the shafe. And no one expects that a war is about to begin, which will write everything off. Meanwhile, we are bringing all kinds of “rubbish” from China, because there is no one to organize its production at our enterprises with the proper quality, because we buy cars in batches from the Germans and Koreans, because for some reason the factory that makes tanks cannot produce ordinary cars for trips to the country, or the same motorcycles for young people, compressors, air conditioners, pumps, or something else for the people. Since 1985 of the year we have been conducting these conversations, and things are still there. Either all military production will be destroyed and given over to the factory under the warehouse of Afghan-Chinese consumer goods, or let them save so that they can save again in ten years. Sick, right word!

      1. 0
        25 October 2017 18: 58
The answer is even simpler. Now financing of the state order goes through a special account, from which misuse is impossible. And two years ago, the management of the concern Tractor Plants withdrew money from the accounts of the Kurganmashzavod. It got to the point that there was no money to buy metal for already concluded contracts. Two related companies filed lawsuits to declare the plant bankrupt, since there was no payment for the shipped components. So it’s high time to take Bakova (incidentally, Nikita Mikhalkov’s son-in-law) and Bolotin under arrest until they fled abroad.

Dear Alex, if I'm wrong, then correct. Australia's economy is mainly raw, as in Russia. The price level is quite high, many goods are imported. Demand for raw materials (coal, ore) fell in the foreign market. Therefore, the AU population has less money and the demand for cars has fallen. Therefore, well-known automotive brands began to wind down their branches in Australia. The same thing in the Russian Federation.
