The state tests of the latest 90600 tugboat RB-393 built for the Navy by the St. Petersburg enterprise Pella completed, сообщает Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
During the tests, all tug systems and technical equipment on board were finally tested. In the near future, the State Admission Commission will sign an admission and the vessel will be transferred to the Naval Fleet. It is planned that the new-generation tugboat RB-393 will become part of the Baltic Fleet.

The construction of the tugboat “RB-393” of the 90600 project was carried out ahead of schedule.
The tug is designed to perform towing and canting operations at naval bases, on raids and in coastal areas, removing ships and ships from the shoals, extinguishing fires on floating objects and onshore facilities, participating in rescue operations, transporting cargo, and washing away ice. The tug is equipped with a hydraulic crane - manipulator, load capacity 450 kg on the outreach of the boom 5 m.
To extinguish fires, the vessel is equipped with an external fire extinguishing system.
