As the Russian opposition bred American sponsors
Philip Gordon, Deputy State Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs: “Although we strove for good relations with Russia, our position regarding respect for human rights in Russia and preserving democracy remained clear and clear. In this direction we have achieved a lot. In the three years preceding the last elections, we spent over 200 million dollars to protect human rights in Russia, to develop democracy and civil society in the country. ”
Notice how the American official reasoned that "we have achieved a lot ... spent 200 millions." From his point of view, the success of the event is determined solely by the amount spent on it. Just this feature of the American mentality is successfully used by our savvy oppositionists. Mr. Gordon, wake up - you are in Russia and you, obviously, have been intelligently lit. In Russia, this often happens - in our country this is called inappropriate spending of funds. Only here we will not have to answer our outcast oppositionists - they will not put them in a US prison. After all, they made some noise? - Noisy. White ribbons cut? - Cut it. Massovka failed? - Well, the result is obvious. You can safely report to the American taxpayers who help defend Russian democracy about the new Stalinism and the repression of the bloody Putin regime. Well, if you please pay extra!
I must say, we simply underestimate our human rights defenders and oppositionists. But the guys are great fellows! How cleverly they treat gullible Americans by hanging noodles on their ears, talking about political prisoners and the tyrant Putin. These smart guys are doing a good job - gutting the American budget!
This is not a complete list of Russian public organizations promoted by overseas sponsors:
• LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender). The chairman of the Russian LGBT Network, Igor Kochetkov, hopes for grants: "There were no grants yet, but we will receive them within the next few months." Kochetkov knows the matter poorly and openly admits: “Western sponsors are very willing to finance various LGBT projects, especially anti-AIDS ones, but not only these. Western sponsoring organizations have their own reasons, and it is difficult to understand them. And we don't even try to do that. We're just figuring out what our projects need to be about in order for the money to be spent." So, the leader of the homo-revolution is not a fighter for the rights of minorities, but an ordinary swindler, a launderer of American taxpayers' money. And this is far from news - in fairness, we note that the quoted quote Kochetkova dates back to 2006 year.
• "Human rights organizations" defending the interests of terrorists and separatists.
• Movement "Solidarity".
• Navalny project.
• The "Movement for the Defense of the Khimki Forest" - "environmental" activities, as well as homorevolutionary ones, have always been generously funded by the West. Blue resistance... now green...
But a team of young democratizers, apparently, honed under the past elections and has been working with Americans for more than two years now: http://www.constructive-project.org/ru/leadership/. It is worth noting that from the biographies of these characters, published for public display on their website, it follows that only two of them are officially employed. The rest exist, apparently, solely at the expense of overseas grantors. The head of the concession is Vladislav Igorevich Naganov (aka Gaganov), a former assistant to the former prime minister Kasyanov. “He was a delegate to the All-Russian Civil Congress, participated in conferences of the Russian-American expert forum, other forums, seminars and round tables, as well as meetings of organizing committees of a number of mass public events ...” It turns out that there is such a profession - to defend democracy ... guys are spinning as they can!
However, Lyudmila Alekseeva, grandmother of the Russian democracy, flung all Russian opposition opponents and already received a pension from two sources - she has dual citizenship (Russia and the United States). Thoughtful granny herself admitted that she received money from the UK! Here is a Russian mafia!
The out-of-system opposition did everything possible to provide a multi-million dollar audience to the ambiguous and largely controversial film Anatomy of Protest on NTV. The television company was forced, "according to numerous requests from television viewers," to repeat the Anatomy show on prime time on Sunday.
Oppositionists were deeply perturbed, in particular, shown in the framework of the “ChP. Investigation” program video of hiring a group of people for money as extras for the “White Ring” action in Moscow. And although it dealt only with a small group, and not with all the protesters, in opposition circles the film was called “provocation” and “lie”.
The NTV community on Facebook has filled out user comments with the twitter hashtag #NtVlzhet. Moreover, the NTV site on Friday was disconnected from the network for about an hour, and in the message that appeared after the resource returned to the network it was stated that the site was not working due to a DDoS attack.
One of the leaders of the "dissenters" Boris Nemtsov told Interfax that the film "lies from beginning to end" and "boorish distortion of facts", paid for by the "black ticket office of the Kremlin." At the same time, Nemtsov, who was often blamed in the media for being too closely connected with the State Department, did not comment on the footage shown in the film with the employees of the political department of the US Embassy who were present at the protest rally and, for some reason, refused to be interviewed. Alexei Navalny, in turn, told reporters that the creativity of the head of NTV struck him.
In response, the wounded opposition held two anti-lie on NTV actions at the weekend. On Saturday, around 400 outraged protesters came out against the "rude propaganda crafts" on Pushkin Square. "We are against the nasal condemnation and shame that they poured on us from the TV. They say that we took to the streets for money, and we went out according to our conscience," the Nemtsov said, offering more "not to include the fourth button."
On Sunday, an unauthorized rally was held near the Ostankino television center. In total, about a hundred people gathered in front of the television center, not counting the journalists. The action did not go without arrests. Guards of the order asked the audience not to block the entrance to the telecentre. However, they did not listen. As a result, several dozen oppositionists were detained (according to Interfax, 94). Among the detainees were Sergei Udaltsov and Boris Nemtsov, as well as activists of the Moscow branch of the Solidarity movement and the Yabloko party. They, however, were quickly released, drawing up acts of administrative offense.
And on what has been achieved, as it turns out, the opposition members, who are dissatisfied with the revelations shown on NTV, are not going to stop. As Kommersant reported on Saturday, citing lawyer Violetta Volkov, opposition supporters intend to go to court with a collective lawsuit against the broadcaster. “We are trying to understand exactly how to file it (the lawsuit), as from the point of view of the law the situation is difficult, but the collective lawsuit is now being agreed,” said the lawyer representing the interests of the opposition in the courts. However, she did not specify on whose behalf such a lawsuit is planned to be filed.
However, on Sunday this face was found by itself. A former member of the Right Cause party, a politician Boris Nadezhdin, said that he had sued the TV company because of the scandalous film.
Like it or not, but two days of rallies and protests in the capital, unauthorized by the authorities, a wave of outrage in social networks, loud statements by politicians have done their job. The compromising material on the "paid up" participants of the opposition actions "For fair elections" was sold unusually widely. A similar advertisement could have been envied by the distributor of Martin Scorsese’s acclaimed mid-90 film “The Last Temptation of Christ”.
As it is known, in 97, Orthodox organizations tried to prevent the provocative picture from being shown on NTV, thereby causing widespread interest in the work of the shocking director. History repeated True, now to rally against the television company, to demand a “ban”, the liberals came out, in the past defending the rights of television viewers to freely get acquainted with an alternative version of the Gospel story ...
