By the end of 2017, we are expecting from the Russian industry the delivery of another battalion kit to the Pskov air assault division.
As Serdyukov specified, as of today, four battalion sets BMD-4М are already contained in the composition of the two formations of the troops and, in terms of 10 machines, are located at the Omsk Airborne Training Center and RVDUK.
We re-equipped all the anti-aircraft, anti-tank, engineering and sapper, and repair and restoration units that were out of date before the delivery of the BTR-MDM outdated BTR-D armored personnel carriers
- also added Serdyukov.
