In childhood, I happened to see the M-50 in flight near Voronezh. He was sitting on the bank of the river and suddenly at a low altitude along the river bed with a small turn to the left this plane flew. The height was approximately 300 meters. An impressive span.

Developer M-50 - OKB-23, the current design bureau "Salyut" GKNPTs im. M.V. Khrunicheva.
Myasishchev Design Bureau did not exist during the creation of this machine, since it was organized in Zhukovsky only in 1967.
Another thing is that in the 50s, Vladimir Mikhailovich headed OKB-23.

Yes, OKB is deciphered not by the Joint Design Bureau, but by the Special Design Bureau.

It is worth mentioning a modified version of this machine - M-52, equipped with jet engines M16-17. He has changed the design of the engine installation and added additional horizontal tail at the top of the keel. The aircraft was built, but did not have flight tests and was scrapped in the late 1970s.
