New head of Iranian Defense Ministry spoke in favor of missile program

The day before, Amir Khatami was appointed to the post of head of the Iranian military department, who, after being confirmed in office, made several important statements. Information Agency IRNA reports that Khatami spoke of the need to continue the missile program in a country "subject to incessant pressure from the main global aggressor, the United States." It should be noted that Major General Khatami was nominated for the post of Minister of Defense by re-elected President Hassan Rouhani.

From the statements of the newly minted Iranian minister:
We will continue to adhere to the program to improve our defense industry. We must not let any delay take place.

We also talked about the development of the missile program, for the implementation of which Tehran is going to spend more than half a billion dollars (520 million). The program was approved by the Iranian Parliament in response to the new package of anti-Iran sanctions. Recall that the sanctions were approved by US President Donald Trump, while in the US Congress in one "package" anti-Iran sanctions were linked to anti-Russian ones. American experts noted that this was done in order to prevent Trump from rejecting the bill on sanctions against the Russian Federation.

Serious concerns about statements by the Iranian defense minister have been expressed in several countries in the Middle East, including Israel.

New head of Iranian Defense Ministry spoke in favor of missile program
Which is absolutely NOT SURPRISING. Especially knowing that Iranian missile specialists are now VERY closely working with their "North Korean" counterparts.
And if the United States does not engage in constructive cooperation, the next step will clearly be Iran’s refusal of a "nuclear deal." What Russia clearly does not need.

... these "next steps" of the Iranians are just around the corner ... but at the expense of Russia - maybe it will benefit in terms of cooling all heads of some "dogs of war", as well as braking and landing on the fifth point of the merikatos - buried they’re no where else ...

But does Russia need - several hundred Israeli nuclear warheads and their delivery vehicles?

No, of course they are not needed, but they are still much further, the possible Iranian ones ...

... presumably consultations with us were, and the actions of the Iranians were approved ...

But Israel does not indulge. Iran is a sovereign state and has every right
take care of your own safety by all available means,
without paying attention to yapping foreign countries.

    Presumably not.
We do not have authority for them to “allow” or “prohibit” anything.
It turns out that on the one hand we are signing a document by which all UN sanctions and most state sanctions are lifted (each one decides for himself), and on the other hand we give a green light to unleash an arms race in the region?
Persians act on the east subtly. Try to drive a wedge. For a new round in the creation of missile weapons (interesting for what) will lead to the fact that new sanctions will be imposed on behalf of the UN (namely, Iran sought the lifting of these sanctions by signing agreements on the "atom"). The new sanction on behalf of the UN is Iran’s automatic withdrawal from the agreement. And this is anew work on the military nuclear program and another knot of tension. .
