North Korea has begun to deploy the latest long-range MRLS. It is reported by the Korea Times. The newly developed Juche 100 systems are an upgraded version of the M-240 1991-mm MLRS, equipped with twenty-two guides for rockets. According to the Korea Times source, the Juche 100 firing range is about 120 km.
Any other details about the latest North Korean system are unknown. The name "Juche 100" multiple rocket launchers received in honor of the centenary of the Juche ideology. According to unverified information, 300 mm caliber rockets, acquired by North Korea a few years ago from the Russian Federation, were used in the newest complexes. Missile tests were carried out for several years on the west coast of the DPRK.
The new system is expected to be demonstrated to the public at the military parade of 15 on April this year, dedicated to the centenary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Il Sung.
There is no exact information about the DPRK’s armaments. The most long-range of these installations - M-11: it is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to sixty kilometers.
