Reports that Moscow demanded 7 billions of dollars for FGFA (a fifth-generation Russian-Indian fighter, an analogue of the T-50) from Delhi do not correspond to reality, the head of FSMTC Dmitry Shugaev told journalists on the first day of the international aerospace show in Le Bourget, reports RIA News
These messages are not true. If a contract is signed, FGFA will not yield to our PAK FA (T-50)
- said Shugaev.
He stressed that no country in the world, except Russia, transferred to India such "sensitive" technologies.
India will receive not just a plane, but the right to its (intellectual - note VO) property
- noted the head of the FSMTC.
Shugaev stressed that in the course of negotiations with the Indian side on this issue we are in no way talking about "deterioration of technical characteristics." “We are talking about the adaptation of the aircraft for a specific customer,” added Shugaev.
