Putin and Abe urged to abandon bellicose rhetoric on the Korean issue

33
Vladimir Putin met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. In addition to discussing bilateral contacts, the agenda of the talks includes the issue of aggravating the situation on the Korean Peninsula and the militant rhetoric of both the US and the DPRK leadership. According to Vladimir Putin, the situation on the Korean Peninsula has "seriously degraded."

Putin and Abe urged to abandon bellicose rhetoric on the Korean issue

The Russian president noted that belligerent rhetoric could not lead to a resolution of the conflict. Press office Kremlin cites Vladimir Putin’s statement:

We urge all states involved in regional affairs to refrain from belligerent rhetoric and strive for a calm, constructive dialogue. We see as a general task the early resumption of the six-party talks.

According to the head of the Japanese cabinet ministers, both Tokyo and Moscow will continue to demand Pyongyang to strictly comply with the resolution, which provides for the refusal of the DPRK to conduct nuclear tests and develop a nuclear program.

Recall that earlier in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK stated that nuclear tests will be carried out when they deem it necessary.

Speaking about bilateral relations between Japan and Russia, both leaders reminded journalists that consultations in the “two + two” format were held in March of this year with the participation of the ministers of defense and foreign affairs of the two countries.

President Putin and Prime Minister Abe agreed that the 2018 year will be the cross year of Japan in Russia and Russia in Japan.

Against this background, the radicals again held actions in Japanese cities, demanding that Shinzo Abe "force Russia to return the Northern Territories." So in Japan continue to call the Russian Kuriles.

It is very important for Russia to build a pipeline "alternative" in the East. Then it will be easier to talk with the West - you won’t be able to twist your hands with sanctions and “energy packages” - because of this, the Kremlin is so “affectionate” with the Europeans. Japan (100 billion cubic meters of gas is exported) + China (160 billion) + South Korea (40 billion) - all with further growth + oil, uranium, coal (these are only energy carriers) - if we take even non-ferrous metals.
Second moment. A strategic partnership with the PRC crosses the throat of Japan's interests. With such a partnership, Japan will remain on the sidelines. It is beneficial for the Russian Federation to deal not only with China, which will keep Beijing in a “tone and fairway" for Moscow’s interests. The same goes for Koreans. A multi-vector policy and economic interaction with all three "tigers" will lead to the fact that they will offer the "electronics" (machines or whatever is needed there) - the arbiter in the person of the Kremlin desperately needs all that talk about resources (from seafood to forests) that pull these tigers from all over the world (and here they’re actually close by).
The third point. The transit potential to the European market - all these cats are interested in this.
It remains to competently play this "game" of chess and they themselves will offer investments and new technologies, if only Moscow would be "loyal" to their interests. hi
Kuril Islands Invite them to develop also China with Korea. Compete and see a game of distillation.

Japan is 100% dependent on imports of energy, minerals and needs to expand markets. And right next door is China, which is becoming a real rival and a threat. This is where China has become friends with Putin, is purchasing weapons and is engaged in economic activities.
Japan just pretending that it does not need our raw materials has become more expensive, competitors will quickly come to its place.
Strengthening China, the formation of the Beijing-Moscow alliance is more of a concern to Japan than all the peace treaties in place.

I love anime and onigiri, but something I’m not happy with "too close" ties with our island "friends". Is a gift in the form of an island of another being prepared for them? All too often, contacts have begun to "build."

All the same, the “iron” will put in place the presumptuous Trump who imagines himself to be God on Earth and the South Caucasus with Japan. Well done.
We must also take an example from him in some cases, such as this one, and “send” this Abe to Japan without any hope of the Kuril Islands

And why is this? Eun "defended" his state and his people from democratization by the United States, and our politicians have recently begun to mumble something.

That's just the opposite, our politicians just cease to mumble) As a result - such rhetoric from the West. In the 90-2000gg. they just wanted to be friends with us, just friends forever! And now? Now - Nooo, in Europe they don’t even want to live with such people. Oh how they voted!

And about the bad example ... I didn’t in vain say that he is contagious! :) If everyone shakes with a club - it's two minutes without a fight !!! And if there are a lot of those who want to shake the club? That's right - a world fight! With mutual destruction of the population! You, me and all those who are here are part of this population !!! What’s right here?

Well, if you compare with the 90s, then yes they stopped, and if you compare with the actions that they carried out in 2014-15 in the Donbass and Syria, then they started again.

Do not shake the club, and turn on the mind! With the mind we won’t lose anything, but on the contrary we’ll gain. Just shaking it with a bludgeon is an expected reaction that Russia has been trying to breed for several years now. In the States, it has been painted point by point for a long time. One of the points - after a provocation, Russia should shake the club, after which point B. should come into force.

It is clear that sometimes I want to give in the teeth, but let it be suddenly. Not according to the calculated scenario of the West, after which point B is not provided for. I am for such a development course.

And I also meant that if everyone grabs a club, there will be no dialogue. Previously, all the skirmishes between states developed. For this, diplomacy has appeared, which of course is not worth mumbling. If you don’t want to come to an agreement, then hold on to how much you take.

Yes, not always the mind helps against the punks against the punks only the club helps. And what you propose is the same as proving the Pythagorean theorem to a person absolutely stupid, by definition unable to understand this.
That is, the thing is useless and a "club" in such cases, it is necessary to give up.

Actually, if you choose between Japan and the DPRK, then I would choose Korea. And all these hugs of Putin with Japan and significant hints of joint activities smell very bad. We must respect the blood shed by our ancestors. And do not be fooled in the name of all political benefits. Respect the strong, not the opportunists.

Japan is panicky afraid of getting nuclear lyule from the DPRK (including through its nuclear power plants) and ceasing to exist as a country and people.

The only way out for her is to change her ally from the USA to Russia.
