Colonel Budanov's murderer cannot be convicted without the help of Chechnya
Moscow investigators appealed to the Chechen law enforcement agencies with a request to assist in the investigation of the murder of Yuri Budanov, a former colonel of the Russian army. Rosbalt reports that the Moscow State Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation sent a request to Chechnya to assist in establishing the identity of the main suspect in the crime, Magomed Suleymanov.
According to operational data, the real name of the suspect is Yusup-Hadji Temerkhanov (or Temirkhanov). But there is no documentary evidence of this fact at the moment. And without identification, the motive for the murder remains unclear. Suleymanov had no reason to take revenge on Budanov, while at Temerkhanov they are significant - according to some sources, his father was killed by the feds. In addition, until the identity of the arrested person has been established, it is impossible to indict him in the final version.
Operatives found that the documents addressed to Suleymanov were given to the accused in the Argun police department of 1 in August 1996 in August, when there was a war in Chechnya, and all the archives were destroyed as a result. Other evidence that a person with such data existed could not be found. All the friends of the detainee called Yusup-Hadzhi, and one Moscow resident said that she entered into a fictitious marriage with Yusup-Hadzhi Hizrievich Temerkhanov, a native of Geldagen (Chechnya), about ten years ago, and confidently identified her “spouse” in Magomed Suleymanov.
Therefore, the State Civil Investigation Committee of the Investigation Committee is asking Chechen law enforcement agencies to find documentary evidence of the fact that Temerkhanov was detained in Moscow. In addition, the requested data and family members Yusup-Haji. However, in Moscow they don’t count on the help of Chechen colleagues. Suleimanov-Temerkhanov in Chechnya is considered a national hero, so no one will complicate his fate.
47-year-old Yuri Budanov killed 10 on June 2011 at around 12 in the center of Moscow when he left the notary's office located on Komsomolsky Prospect. Unknown was carried out four shots in the head with a pistol.
Initially it was assumed that two committed the crime. But a survey of witnesses showed that the murder was committed by one person. In addition, a medical examination confirmed his responsibility. According to the doctors, at the time of the crime, he was fully aware of his actions.
