Swedish fighter «Gripen» in Switzerland received a rating of "unsatisfactory." But they will buy

Swedish-made fighters JAS 39 "Gripen", who won the Swiss tender, do not meet the minimum technical requirements imposed by the Swiss Air Force. The report of the Swiss Air Force Commission, made by 9 on November 2009, was at the disposal of the newspaper Sonntags Zeitung.

According to this report, from 28 July to 5 December 2008, the Swiss Air Force Commission conducted a comparative analysis of three aircraft competing in a tender for the purchase of fighters. Participants in the competition were the following aircraft: 1) "Eurofighter Typhoon"; 2) Rafale of the French company Dassault; 3) Swedish JAS 39 "Gripen" manufactured by Saab.

The winner, in accordance with the terms of the tender, had to score at least 6 points on the 10-scale according to the results of all tests. In 6 points from 10, the F-A-1997 Hornet fighters standing in service with 18 were rated by the Swiss.

The leader of the tests was recognized as the French aircraft "Rafale", who scored 6,98 points (rating of "satisfactory"). Rafale coped with all tasks, including shock, reconnaissance missions and air combat. It should be noted that this aircraft was highly appreciated by the Swiss pilots. The only “weak link” of the fighter, as believed by Swiss experts, is the helmet-mounted information display system.

The second place was taken by “Eurofighter Typhoon”. He won 6,48 points overall. "Typhoon" as a whole successfully passed the tests, but the Swiss specialists did not really like his performance during the conduct of conditional combat. Experts from the commission considered the onboard electronic warfare system to be another weak point of the Typhoon.

But the onboard system of electronic warfare JAS 39 "Gripen" Swiss liked. But the fact is that the Swedish fighter failed to cope with any of the test tasks. In the overall standings, “Gripen” received only 5,33 points - and the rating is “unsatisfactory.” As you can see, he showed the worst result, below six points, in which the outdated F / A-18 "Hornet" was rated.

Despite this failure, in December 2011, the Swiss Ministry of Defense announced Saab's victory in an aircraft tender. According to Sonntags Zeitung, the decisive role in choosing the military was not at all technical indicators, but ... the cost of the fighter. As experts suggest, twenty-two Swedish aircraft will cost the Swiss in 2,5-2,8 billion francs (2,7-3,0 billion dollars). At the same time, "Dassault" for eighteen of its aircraft requested from Switzerland 2,7 billion francs.

The contract with Saab for the supply of fighters for the Swiss Air Force will reportedly be signed after government approval of the results of the tender held in February of this year. The delivery of the first Gripen to Switzerland is likely to take place at 2015.

A neutral, small European country needs fighters more for prestige than for warfare. That is why the characteristics do not play a key role in the choice.

Yeah, Europe is having fun, there’s nothing more to do, samoli to test. Three took, but they forgot the Russians! The French Hindus for half price barely drove their zhelejaku along with the drawings.

Or maybe he surpassed competitors in the radius of the bend? For a small country, this is the first requirement, otherwise - eternal scandals with neighbors due to airspace violations. wink

And why wouldn’t the Kazakhs be free in the spirit of the CSTO and China? Like the US Abrams of Greece ... Yes

Are not our people sitting on the commission? And in order to weaken the NATO Air Force tenders were held. The joke of course, which immediately came to mind. Well, seriously, I look at their problems no less than in our armed forces! But how much criticism in their media!

And they correctly decided in the Moscow Region ... Why would they need good fighters? You still won’t have to fight ... And for the parades, they’ll come down, well, what sort of passenger to land ...

Imagine a state with the largest percentage of the population in the army in the world. A state in which all men from 20 to 50 are military men, literally sleeping with a machine gun under the bed. The state, which even after 50 just gives you the trunk, and it’s nice to see you to the grave at training camps and training grounds. The state asking you to buy at least a gun (or better, a rifle) at a discount. A state capable of deploying from the 22-thousandth in two to four hours (!) The 650-thousandth, and in two days the 1,7-millionth (!) Army, well trained, organized, and very well armed. (For example, the US Army - 1,3 million plus the same reserve, the Chinese Army - 2,4 million, plus 1 million reserve).

Imagine the most militarized state in the world.

And plus, keep in mind that almost all this creepy country, armed to the teeth, from Geneva to Davos, from Zurich to Lugano - tall mountains, pitted with tunnels, anti-nuclear shelters, weapons depots, "bunkers of the motherland", and rocket-artillery reference firing points, embedded in granite.

The Swiss army is not the only country in the world that has a personnel and police structure. The Bundeswehr, for example, is built on the same principle (in some approximation), which is essentially a huge analogue of the Soviet "cropped" divisions. Those. system - "a few soldiers + many staff officers and non-commissioned officers + reservists in civilian + training camps = deployment only when necessary."

The difference between the Swiss in bringing to the absolute idea of "the people and the army are one."

    It looks like this.

The military personnel in the country is only about 9000, mainly in aviation. Being in the service and retraining - about 10-15 thousand at a time. The soldier is called up for 90 days in the so-called Rekrutenschule - Ecole de recrue. After graduation, the state gives the soldier a personal weapon with two full shops (a rifle and / or pistol), a “canned minister”, three sets of uniforms for all seasons, equipment, body armor and a helmet, with which he departs home. He keeps it as he wants - no one will check.

If our media had such information about our fighters, they would already be branded here as the litter of the State Department. If the same newspaper said something wrong about our fighter jets, then it would have been caught lying in it too. But naturally, when in the West they say something bad about Western technology, it is reading, like a baby’s tear, the truth.

Such a rigidly cropped Swiss army is needed to protect the financial cellars of the world oligarchy. So there is money there and our oligarchs. And this money works for the world government. therefore, tunnels are dug there to drive trains with grandmas back and forth. But seriously, no one will attack Switzerland in any military conflict. Whatever country is at war from any other top of both sides, grandmothers will keep in Switzerland.
