The torpedoes "Case" were developed at the St. Petersburg scientific research institute "Morteplotekhnika", and the Caspian factory "Dagdizel" will be engaged in their production.

The “case” will be armed first of all with the new nuclear submarines of the 955 “Borey” and 885 “Ash” projects. Since the launch of the mass production of these torpedoes, the production of the “Physicist” torpedoes will cease.

    The distance to undermine such a large can only be in nuclear performance. And it is not entirely clear how a torpedo will calculate such a distance. GLONASS at a depth of 400 meters does not work. And 50 km from the submarine is far away to transmit a signal to undermine.
