According to "Today.ua", Saadi, the son of the murdered Muammar Gaddafi, is under threat of extradition to the Libyan authorities.
According to the source of the television channel Al-Arabiya, the Nigerian government detained Saadi several hours after a telephone interview with the channel. During the interview, Saadi called on his countrymen to revolt. And Saadi Gaddafi was ready to lead the alleged uprising. According to Gaddafi himself, the uprising in Libya will not be limited to a few areas, but will cover the whole country.
Until now, the Nigerian authorities provided asylum to 38-year-old Saadi and did not respond to the demands of the new Libyan government for extradition. However, and now the son of Gaddafi is not in a hurry to extradite Libya. Nigerian authorities doubt that the trial of Saadi will be objective
If the Nigerian authorities, Segodnya.ua reports, will continue to insist on fulfilling their conditions, then Saadi Gaddafi may well avoid issuing to the Libyan authorities. It is noted that the new Libyan authorities have not yet confirmed that Seif al-Islam, arrested in October, Al-Gaddafi’s other son is alive, and that his activities are under investigation in Libya.
