Battle robot "Nerekhta" will be able to fight with tanks and interact with drones, representatives of OJSC "Plant named after V.A. Degtyarev" said on Monday, writes Interfax-AVN.
The Nerekhta robotic complex is being developed by the company together with the Advanced Research Foundation.
Components of the Nerekhta robotic complex undergo preliminary tests. Within two years, various tests and docking tests in field conditions have been carried out on the complex’s combat and reconnaissance platforms,
- said a representative of the plant.

According to the developers, Robot There are three modules: combat, transport and artillery reconnaissance. The combat module in various versions is equipped with a 12,7 mm Kord machine gun or a 7,62 mm Kalashnikov tank machine gun. The module can also be additionally equipped with an AG-30M automatic grenade launcher.

In the future, it is planned to equip the complex with heavy weapons, in particular, anti-tank missiles,
- said the representative of the plant.
The company is working to teach the "Nerekhta" to interact with the UAVs.
We are exploring the possibility of interaction with the BLA Merlin-21B "(BAF" Flibuster "). The military was all right. The driving performance of the Nerekhta exceeded their expectations.

- said a company representative.
According to him, the robot "Nerekhta" successfully showed itself at the gathering of the main command of the Ground Forces, which took place in December 2016 in Alabino near Moscow.
"Nerekhta" consists of a compact light tracked chassis, equipped with armored hulls and fixtures for the installation of special equipment. Platform length - 2,5 m, width - 1,6 m. Height, excluding special equipment, - 0,9 m. Curb weight of the machine - about one ton.

That's it. And I recently read one article from 2011 and there some representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation managed to froth out of my mouth that the interaction of a tank and a drone is impossible in the near future ..... After all, we can when we want. I am not special in the military-industrial sector, but it’s still nice to see good domestic developments. And be amazed at the “ur-oozing hryukrainsky screech” at the sight of the next garbage container on the tracks

And it surprises me that such technologies are called "the latest."
What's new? This is just asking, and has long been known.
Remote control, interaction, full monitoring of the battlefield, automated protection, encrypted secure channels, multiple duplication.
And at the present level of electronics, it is solved by fairly simple cheap means.
WHY IT HAS NOT BEEN INTRODUCED FOR A LONG TIME ??!

The concept is correct. Small wedge heel for reconnaissance
battle and passage areas that are shot from machine guns.

Israel, too, is the time to put such infantry at the disposal.

Why is there so little information about the application in the field? Passed info about using them in a palmyra ...

This car is not needed in the field. In a field, a bunch of UAVs and an artillery system, for example, the Coalition of SV, are much more efficient, require less preparation time and less application costs by an order of magnitude .... This robot is needed where the UAV does not see, where stripping is needed, and time does not play the main role .... Instead of infantry in the city in the first echelon ... Which tanks, which scouts, and the transport option is very doubtful. Why do these fantasies or the military themselves don’t know where to put it? A machine should be designed for a specific task, for its well-founded niche. Yes, she is needed. , but it seems that the developers and customers have not yet come up with what for? Maybe at first let the need justify, proceeding from this need they will approve the task, and then contact the manufacturer .... And we have everything, as always, through the back ..., that is, it is not entirely right ......

        I can not agree.
A transport robot is needed to supply anything.
A scout is needed, set it up and let it stand for days, controls the sites, cheaply and very well. reliably. And for a grenade launcher they will find work.
Our military now knows where and what to put)))

In Syria, they tested Uranium-9, it is necessary to test Nerekht.

Not only Uranus-9, but also Platform-M, which is very similar to Nerekhta.
