Kiev has exhausted the quotas of duty-free deliveries to the European Union

Ukraine has fully used the duty-free quotas for export to the EU of the main groups of goods in the first quarter of this year, reports Vesti.Ekonomika message of the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business (ASTP).

Kiev has exhausted the quotas of duty-free deliveries to the European Union

As of March, duty-free export quotas have been fully used for five groups of goods: natural honey, sugar, cereals and flour, grape and apple juices and corn,
- said in a statement.

In addition, "on 96%, the quotas for processed tomatoes and for 84% for wheat were used, and in Q1 of the current year the quota for the import of poultry meat was completely exhausted."

A similar situation with the early use of quotas was observed last year, businessmen said.

Meanwhile, according to the ASTC, in the 2017 year, “quotas should be increased for duty-free exports of natural honey, cereals and flour, processed tomatoes, grape juice and cereals - oats, wheat, corn and barley”.

However, this did not happen.

The publication reminds that, in accordance with the Association Agreement with the EU from 2014, “Ukraine received the right to supply duty free items to the 36 EU in the framework of the approved volumes of tariff quotas, while for other groups of goods the customs duties were reduced”. Subsequent trading practice has shown that quotas are chosen by Ukrainian manufacturers before the completion of the first half of the year.

According to experts, after 3, after the signing of the Agreement, the European sales market was not open to the Ukrainian business, which is why enterprises massively cease their activities.

According to the State Statistics Service, “for 2015 a year, the number of active enterprises in Ukraine decreased by 6,4 thousand,” and as a result of 2016, 1,5 thousand companies went bankrupt. Currently, about 2 thousands of enterprises are in bankruptcy.

Meanwhile, according to the UCAB, in 2017 “quotas for duty-free export of natural honey, cereals and flour, processed tomatoes, grape juice and grains - oats, wheat, corn and barley should be increased ........ .............................. Well, they’ll put production right, and there will be only one agricultural product, which the EU has sought.

True, this may soon bother everyone in the vehicle, and it will be broken off and besieged to a place above which he will not jump! You must have a conscience!

.... I apologize for inserting five cents ... that's it.
And repacked and papers are made ... But ..
My question is - who is the final beneficiary of the allegedly Belarusian imports? That's right - Russia .. Or rather, not like that: Russian business is not clean at hand.
I know firsthand that it is the Russians who know the mass flow.
Yes, Belarusians participate .. but it is so ... a trifle ... the main loot there is on the sales market, in other words, in Russia.
What am I doing - stop running into our chairman.
This is not state policy, but, yes .... right .. criminal acts of organized groups. Identifying them is the immediate task of the relevant authorities.
Well, if we are talking about the quality of Belarusian products:
I saw with my own eyes how they opened a batch of the freshest stewed meat in the Smolensk area in a shed, passed it into a vat, added some shit (like meat of unknown origin — it just smelled like kapets), digested it, threw in spices and sent it for packing under the Belarusian label (which is nicer than was).
So, dear, do not confuse the hell with a finger: there is state policy, but there is illegal activity.
And to shout indiscriminately that Lukashenko is to blame for everything - a lot of intelligence is not needed ...
Look all Ukraine yells-Putin is to blame!
To whom did it help, except for those who widen their pockets for these phrases? And the crowd, know, comes in ecstasy assenting ....

You can trade only with those who will buy it all. For example, with Africa. There is hunger hunger. But what will the Africans pay? You can trade with Nieessovskoy Europe, China, India. But there are cockroaches. For their own manufacturers will be very unhappy. And the governments of these countries will have to choose, either to buy VERY CHEAP, or to destroy their own.

Yes, to puzzle what is ourselves, is not necessary. Judge for yourself, if in March they were completely shipped, then, therefore, this was not enough. Usually in any contracts there are requirements to ship evenly throughout the year. That there was no shock delivery and not create difficulties for yourself with the storage of the product.

And if according to Karl Marx (let's not talk about the “Manifesto ...”, but “Capital” is an amazing book), then with shock delivery the prices should collapse. But what for is it a "stable" Europe? The lack of news on the exchange is the best news (for all but the speculators-traders themselves, of course ...).

That's what byad is. This is a loss of loss. But they warned 4 years ago that it would be so. But Yanukovych wanted to exercise in a zigzag run. But in the EAEU, after all, they offered a lot of goodies, including joint projects on the same Antonov aircraft and Yuzhmash missiles. They didn’t want to, give them Europe, take it out and put it on a dish with lace panties. But they could live, but they thought that overseas horseradish is sweeter. By the way, I watched a video where Ukrainian young people try to work on Polish farms and they get money there for a week or two. The work is not easy, for 12 hours carrots from frozen soil are pulled for 8 zlotys per hour (1 zloty = 14 rubles), 25 thousand roughly rubles per month. For that kind of money, we quietly work in greenhouse conditions for 8 hours. Well, that was their choice. For what they fought, as they say.

I tried somehow the advertised chocolate Roshen, we have it full in the "Russian" stores.
So-so, nothing special. Below average, I would say. It’s better to buy some other if you want tasty sweets or chocolate. Sometimes birch sap is normal, but I try to take Belarusian. Now they write that it’s not clear where, who the importer is, who the manufacturer is, it’s not clear. Moscow mustard, Red October seems to be called good. Cocoa too.

St. Petersburg is better to take the "Special" factory named after Krupskaya. Moscow chocolate is not the same. True Babaevsky still nothing, but not all varieties.

Babaevsky and KO have no difference with their Ukrainian counterparts (Roshen, Conti, AVK, etc.),
and the price is higher .... by the way, they were supplanted from the Ukrainian market ... sorry - there was a variety of manufacturers, the Ukrainian one was banal ..

Such scanty trading quotas, and even that only on agricultural products, is for Ukraine not cooperation with the EU, but the EU’s trade war against Ukraine.

Well, there are many of the same type (it will freeze or the storage will end well, and fall apart)
and according to quotas - is that how news is written? For example, about honey - did anyone mention that
Ukraine ranks first in Europe and third in the world in honey export (in 2015, and in 2016 it increased production by another 12%)
look where with 2014 (after having left Russia at 80%) they sell
The largest importers of Ukrainian honey from 2014 a year were Turkey - 1,4 thousand tons, Slovakia - 1,8 thousand tons, USA - 7,8 thousand tons, Poland - 7 thousand tons, Germany - 11,5 thousand tons, France - 1,8 thousand tons , Spain - 1,6 thousand tons "
as we see, not all of this and the EU. Well, they will exhaust quotas for the EU market and will either pay duties (and the Ukrainian price allows - as they did before 14) or they will sell it to Asia (the rest)
    normal situation for the market.
What do readers of the article see - quotas are over and Ukrainians hanged themselves? And to explain the mechanism and the situation?
barley is of little concern, corn is all in Asia, sugar is pumped every year, but there is room to sell it.
yes for each product there is information
    and also should be added
"The use of quotas for Ukraine in the framework of the FTZ with the EU is carried out on a" first come - first served "and" licensing "basis
    need to consider

in general, the EU market is hard-protected. However, the Russian market in recent years before the gap has become something like this (trade wars were brutal and political).
so in any case, you need to gnaw out a place under the sun everywhere ...

In my opinion, quotas were not announced for the supply of donor organs .... And the ATO is in full swing .... How do you think how much good things run through the fields there, hoping to kill all Muscovites ... And how many law-enforcement officers are full of health? In general, export potential is visible ....

In economies that are not in short supply, in fact, as in any economies in general, regulatory levers are needed. Or bans, or taxes, or quotas. You can also combine in different combinations.

We understand this, but try to explain it to banderlog =

        1. Free trade zone - sell what you want, at least plague-infected pork.
        2. Visa-free - go wherever you want, as much as you want, and do what you want (for example, in lacy shorts, you can trade with what).
        3. NATO - they will protect us! From Russia! They will give 100500 billion dollars (or even billions).
        4. Democracy - we will live in Switzerland, receiving unconditional 2000 euros per month on the nose for Russophobia.
        5. Every Ukrainian homosexual will receive a free hot Viking.
        6. And so on.
