Black Syrian New Year

Black Syrian New YearHere we are in the New Year. Some of us had a magnificent holiday table, someone had a very modest one. Despite the pain of recent losses, we wished each other happiness, success, well-being ... And friends from Syria at this time wrote: "We would - water!", "And a little bit of fuel"... During those short hours, while there is electricity, they had to share their misfortune with the world. But the world is deaf, except when you need to blame the Syrian or Russian army...

Shortly before the New Year, militants of the so-called “opposition”, seizing an important district of Wadi Barad in the province of Damascus, poisoned water in the water supply system supplying the capital. Tons of oil products were poured into it (which, by the way, is not enough for civilians - the winter, according to Syrian standards, was cold). As a result, the authorities had to turn off the water supply.

Shortly afterwards, the “fighters for democracy” distributed footage of the destroyers dancing merrily on the ruins of one of the most important water supply facilities - Ain al-Fiji. They are glad that they left millions of people without one of the most important benefits of civilization.

At the same time, in another part of Syria - in the province of Aleppo - the terrorists also staged a water blockade to civilians. They cut off the water supply from the Euphrates to Suleiman Al-Khalyabi station, which supplies most of the city of Aleppo.

But if the militants of the ISIL organization banned in almost the whole world “distinguished themselves” in Aleppo, then in Damascus they left the “moderate opposition” that was completely permitted and supported by the West without water. That same opposition, which has enough audacity to demand the convocation of the UN Security Council because of the situation in the area of Wadi Barad: allegedly this Syrian army violates the ceasefire. The fact that the terrorists destroyed the water supply system in Damascus, it seems, and does not count.

Unfortunately, there were much more serious violations of the "silence mode"which entailed numerous human victims. In the very first week of the new year, several bloody terrorist attacks occurred in Syria.

Right on New Year's Eve in the seaside Tartus killed two law enforcement officers. At the cost of their lives, they stopped two suicide bombers trying to enter the embankment, where people celebrated the New Year. Relatives of the victims, who received heavy news, when the whole world was having fun, can only be comforted by the fact that these guys prevented the death of even more people. This attack, however, was very poorly covered in the world media.

On January 5, in the town of Jabla in Latakia province, also on the Syrian coast, a car bomb exploded near the stadium - in an area where there were a lot of people. 15 people died, more than 40 injured.

It is reported that ISIS claimed responsibility for these two attacks. However, the reality is such that the “moderate opposition” had previously operated in this area. In particular, in May 2016 of the year, just “moderate” bandits from the Ahrar Ash-Sham group organized a series of terrorist attacks in the same cities - Jeble and Tartus. Since the cease-fire does not apply to ISIL, the sensation arises that taking this organization of responsibility for the attacks on themselves is a way to protect the “moderate” from accusations of violating the truce.

On January 6, “oppositionists” bombarded two villages in the province of Hama - Mharda and Ar-Rabia. There were no casualties, but several houses of civilians were destroyed.

7 January a powerful explosion thundered in the city of Azaz in northern Syria, near the border with Turkey. This city is under the control of the "opposition", and this explosion is nothing but the result of the bloody clashes of militants among themselves. Terrorist "lords" found out which of them is oppositional, and the victims were mostly "slaves" - that is, civilians who were not lucky enough to be at the scene of the explosion. 60 people died, more than 100 injured.

8 January in the province of Damascus in the village of Beit Jean, a car bomb explosion killed five people. 15 citizens suffered.

Against this background, with such a “respect for truce”, preparations are under way for negotiations in Astana. Militants "opposition" continue to terrorize the population of Syria, thereby showing their attitude towards the upcoming peace process.

And in the area of Wadi Barad, on the situation in which the water supply of Damascus depends, Russia is trying to act as an intermediary between the militants and the Syrian army. 7 January, it would seem, was able to achieve an agreement according to which the supply of water to the Syrian capital is resumed, and the area will be patrolled by the militants of the “opposition” together with the soldiers of the Syrian army. However, according to the latest incoming data, the terrorists frustrated the agreement. Damascus in the conditions of the water blockade is facing an epidemic.

In international organizations, this time not to hear the cries of a humanitarian catastrophe. Only statements of the outgoing US administration about the "scorched earth tactics", which Russia allegedly uses in Syria, are heard. Such an accusation sounds from the state, which in recent years has literally “burned out” Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya. And it was the fault of this overseas power that the next New Year in Syria turned out to be black, gloomy, overshadowed by death.

All these events once again confirm the proverb, to whom the war and to whom the mother is dear. It is not for nothing that the capitalists poured so much money into it, until the last chance they try to get bonuses.
I remembered Akhmatova. Just about the Black New Year, so to speak.
    Our boys defended us

Huge sums are allocated from the US budget to help Afghanistan, but the programs do not really work. They can build an exemplary section of the road or carry out a series of so-called. seminars (for example, the program of seminars "Assistance" for Afghan women cost $ 410 million). Officials explain the lack of results by the ongoing war and local theft. Here is another targeted program. It is possible that they will sow a couple of fields with potatoes "using Canadian technology" and appropriate agricultural seminars. But the rest of the money will be easily put into pockets.)))
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has promised to provide Afghanistan with assistance in the amount of $ 100 million for agricultural development.
According to representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, the new aid package for the coming years will go on the development of various agricultural sectors in various regions of the country.
“We will try to pay attention to agricultural producers,” said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Asadullah Zamir.
“USAID will enter into an agreement with one of the American universities to organize training programs. This university has rich international experience, ”he said.
The assistance package will be used to support the agricultural market, to implement plans for the transition of Afghanistan to self-sufficiency in the field of grain production, to improve the skills of agricultural ministry employees and other projects aimed at developing traditional agricultural sectors for Afghanistan.
USAID representatives promised in the coming years to continue supporting the national agricultural development strategy in Afghanistan.
“We know that agriculture will be at the forefront of the development strategy proposed by the government of national unity,” TOLO Newshttps: //slovodel.com/489197-bespoleznaya-pomo reports on the words of the USAID representative in Afghanistan Herbie Smith
      sh-ssha-afghanistanu.
P.S. The US government monitoring agency reported that more than two dozen programs, worth more than $ 2,3 billion, "have generally not been successful when implemented in Afghanistan." crying

In 2016, the United States and its sixes dropped 26 thousand bombs on the heads of citizens of 7 states. Peacekeepers, their mother's leg. From this it becomes clear why the governments of the Middle East countries are more and more inclined to the idea of attracting Russia, and not the United States, to resolve issues of finding a compromise between the world and "democracy."
