The state will acquire one hundred IL-476 transport aircraft

The state order before the 2020 of the year on the Il-476 will be more than one hundred units, according to Rossiyskaya Gazeta. It will be purchased as a military transport version of the IL-476, and flying information centers and special vehicles for the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to Dmitry Rogozin, deliveries of transport aircraft for the Ministry of Defense will begin in 2014-15, while financing the construction of new aircraft will begin in 2012-13.

Production of IL-476 deployed at the plant "Aviastar". IL-476 is a deep modernization of the military transport IL-76. The updated aircraft received a wing of the new design, which is designed for take-off weight of 210 t. This figure for IL-76 is equal to 190 t. version. IL-14 is equipped with engines that develop traction in 15 t.

The crew of IL-476 - six people. The aircraft is equipped with digital control systems and a new sighting and navigation system, which is compatible with Russian and foreign equipment. The tests of the Il-476 are expected to begin in spring 2012. “Three transport workers from the installation batch were put into production. An agreement was signed with UAC - Transport Aircraft. The first two aircraft should be commissioned in 2013,” said Sergei Dementyev, Director Aviastar.

Terms of development, as well as the start of production of IL-476 constantly transferred. In the middle of 2010, it was reported that the first flight of the transporter would take place before the end of 2011, and certification and the beginning of deliveries to customers will occur in 2012. It is not yet known what these delays are associated with. Also, to date, the exact number of aircraft scheduled for delivery has not been announced. Military and government officials announced the acquisition of 50, 60 and 120 transporters. State Armaments Program on 2011-2020 in the part relating to the Ministry of Defense, the purchase of IL-50 476 units is envisaged.

Yesterday Zvezda watched another film on the history of aviation on TV. During the war years, only one aircraft plant (in Omsk, it seems) produced 20 Yak-9 fighters a day! There are 20 planes per day !!! Of course, the technique is incomparable, but still impressive ...

It’s not really true, Russia wanted to grab TAPOiCH (as always "great power" with money - for free), the Uzbeks sent and there is no production of the IL-76 forever. And there will not be, there is no transfer of production - and there shouldn't have been.

All for the strengthening of technological production. It’s safe to let hydrocarbon money into the production of high-tech products. Support for the defense industry in the domestic market will in any case lead to an improvement in export performance. Because mass, and a hundred pieces is a lot for such a machine, will lead to lower costs and export. Those. so hopefully we will jump off the oil needle.

It is a pity that the pigeons do not understand this. In fact, the purchase of equipment is extremely positive. This is a real impetus for R&D, an increase in purchasing power, an increase in prestige, an increase in exports, a decrease in inflation, a decrease in unemployment, and a bunch of cool little things. In general, whole works have been written about this. And this is not only a theory, the USA followed this path and were not mistaken. There are practically no cons at all, if to the best of course, not to the best of everything is bad. But here it is very difficult to overdo it. But severe control over the spending of funds is extremely important, but this is a completely different issue and it does not concern issues of militarization. These are questions for forums of lawyers and criminologists with law enforcement.

Something is unbelieving. If it is planned for 2013, only 2 pieces. That for the next 6 years - 98 pcs. Unreal! Given that, unfortunately, no one is engaged in the training of personnel and young specialists. There is no one to work. I DO NOT BELIEVE !!!

Guys. Unfortunately, not everything is decided by money. Money can be allocated, but put on stream, unfortunately there are no personnel. And the worst thing is that so far none of the officials responsible for the aircraft industry have even scratched it. There will not be enough personnel to produce such a quantity. But you can’t put migrant workers on the assembly of airplanes.

Put it on the stream, yes! Unfortunately, it is now possible to put on stream in Russia only in Ulyanovsk, and even in small-scale production. In Samara, only piece copies can now be produced, like a presidential plane. The Kazan aviation industry ordered a long life, Saratov has already been like a few years in another world, the Moscow aviation industry - you don’t even remember the existence of this once. It is necessary to restore production in order to produce on such a scale. And this is not gu-gu. Again, experts. Where to get specialists?
And talk about large orders has been going on since the nineties. All in reality turn out to be projections and idle talk of our leaders.

"..... The Il-76 and Il-476 are practically different aircraft. It is even difficult to call the Il-476 a deep modification of the Il-76. Externally, only the fuselage remains similar, the wing of the aircraft is completely new, the onboard systems of the aircraft are completely different. But most importantly - a completely different production technology.
In order to manufacture the aircraft using paperless technology, technical re-equipment began at Aviastar last year. We purchase modern equipment specifically to ensure the implementation of this project. Because the equipment that was previously used at the plant is unable to perceive the paperless type of production ........ "http://www.aviaport.ru/news/2009/04/07/170451.html

Retrofitting is good. I basically heard about it. Drawing up drawings and development of project documentation is carried out on an electronic basis i.e. on computers. The bulk of the equipment and machine tools at the plant remained from Soviet times. But if there are no large real state orders, the plant itself will make 3-4 aircraft interrupting random orders, servicing bank loans and slowly fading away. There will be no money for further development and re-equipment of the plant and the industry as a whole.
PS Actually, I lived in Ulyanovsk for a long time and now I am there, I know about the situation from the primary sources. So at the moment, in addition to tryndzha real orders from the state there.

Of course. Boom to hope, the main thing is SMASH, even in swing, at least as COUNTER, and should "roll". The rhythmic work of the production chain will begin - a solid "skeleton" will be created, and the "muscles" can be pumped up along the way. If people see it seriously, for a long time and worthy pay - they will come and learn and do it. And the program, if successfully implemented, can always be increased.
