“This possible deal enhances US foreign policy and national security, enhancing the security of a friendly country and strengthening strategically important relations ... The supply of aircraft will increase Qatar’s capabilities to counter current and future adversaries on the ground and in the air. Qatar will use potential as a means of deterring regional threats and strengthening its defense ", - said in a statement.
