The President of the Russian Federation instructed the leadership of the Ministry of Defense to introduce the experience gained in Syria into the practice of combat training of Russian military personnel, reports TASS.

Putin: the experience gained in Syria must be introduced into the practice of the Armed Forces

"The experience gained in the course of hostilities against international terrorists in Syria should be consistently introduced into the practice of training troops and control bodies, used in conducting exercises and surprise checks, and designers and engineers of the military-industrial complex should be taken into account when developing advanced weapons," Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the leadership of the military.

“The development of the Armed Forces and their technical equipment should continue to be carried out in strict accordance with the principle of reasonable sufficiency, in accordance with the economic possibilities of the state with the mandatory implementation of all our plans to ensure the necessary growth rates of the economy, the development of civilian industries, and, of course, with fulfilling the state’s social obligations to citizens, ”he noted.

“Nothing should contradict anything, everything should be in natural interaction and complement each other,” the president stressed.

According to him, "over the past year, the course has been continued to increase the combat capability and mobility of the Armed Forces of Russia, to improve their quality and personnel reinforcement."

According to the head of state, “good results” were achieved in operational and combat training of troops.

“During the year, a number of large-scale exercises and training sessions were used to work out the use of parts and formations, including involving civil authorities at various levels,” he said, noting that this topic will be discussed in detail “at the upcoming final board of the ministry defense.

“In general, the course towards the development of the Armed Forces is being implemented systematically and consistently. Our task is to further increase the capabilities of the army and fleet, take into account key trends and processes that are taking place in the leading armies of the world, ”concluded the President of the Russian Federation.

Putin said everything correctly. In fact, we have a people and an army. And it is believed that if there is such a need, the army will fulfill its duty and protect the people from any aggressor.

Syria is a mirror image of what will happen if our morale and opportunities attack Russia .. I remember leaving Afghanistan (or rather they fled, on the orders of those labeled ..) Remember what started on the borders of Russia and inside ... BLOOD!

There are technical problems, and given the specifics of Syria, everything is quickly eliminated and adjusted according to the comments of soldiers directly in Syria. And this is good.

Many reproach me for exaggerating the colors and dramatizing the situation too much ... But we have an information catastrophe in the army, yes ... a catastrophe ... We do not know how to fight in a modern way. Our leadership shies away from the term "network-centric wars" like a black cat. The generals live in the past and are ready to lay down the entire army, only to obtain information about the enemy .. They do not understand that a paratrooper breaking a brick with his head and a tank going nowhere are not symbols of modern war. The symbol of modern war is the operator of the combat information system in the control center wearing glasses and in front of the monitor! Whether someone likes it or not, this is true, and we do not have such a system. Instead, they are disparate, lonely devices, incompatible and useless for modern technology. Moreover, this approach turns the most modern military equipment, and we have it, into useless toys, or rather, a target for the American army ... Generals plan to receive information about the enemy in the old way - sacrificing thousands of soldiers and hundreds of pieces of equipment in direct contact with the enemy. They do not introduce information technologies in the army, do not create information systems that allow finding and destroying the enemy at a great distance and without loss. Syria, like Finland at one time, has exposed deep flaws and lag in the army. And the consequences will be the same ...

We urgently need to develop and approve a concept for creating a global military information system. We don't have it. .. They will answer me, we have it, you just do not know. I doubt it. Let me give you an example. In the reports of the military-industrial complex for the past year and the beginning of 2016, there was information that was especially unnoticed by anyone: the Sozvezdie concern did not fulfill the plan and did not eliminate the backlog. And what are the main products of this concern? No, not means of communication and electronic warfare. Its main product is the ESU TZ "Sozvezdiye-M" system. Surprisingly, this outdated, ostentatious system is still being produced and it was ordered to perform the functions of an information system of a tactical level. It supposedly can use UAV signals and issue signals to the means of destruction of self-propelled guns and missile defense systems in real time, and in the future for helicopters and attack aircraft ... Well, where is she in Syria? Nowhere. Why is it needed? Need not. Why is it released? To fulfill the plan on paper. Nobody needs it, it is useless and outdated. But this is a state program ... This system can cost the epaulette of two uncles who are sitting next to Shoigu in the photo. By 2020, our army should actually be equipped with SUCH systems, and the loan day is close. Who will be responsible for this billion-dollar show-off?

It seems that there is not only the problem of the military information system, we have long had a problem with domestic electronics, as such. At its core, "War, war does not change ...", but, naturally, its methods change. Now, given "TSU", use the experience of Syria, and what exactly, if there is Daesh (ISIS), with guerrilla methods, without its aircraft, fleet, and much more, and we will take this as a basis for the defense of Russia from full-fledged US armies and NATO, from a local war, a dry region with a hot climate, to our expanses and water barriers. The same BMPT did not bother to test it in Syria, to find understanding for it in the structure of their army, but ideas appeared with the UAZ "Patriot" for the army, like Toyota for the militants. Of course, if we want to imitate ISIS, it will be cheap and angry, we can also use gas cylinders instead of bombs and other "inventions" of militants, so in general, you can save a lot. There is no main thing, doctrine, who, how and what will fight. Without this, then we will shy away from the "over-the-horizon landing", with our Baltic and Black Sea and one aircraft carrier for all fleets, then the "experience of Syria", or even the tank "biathlon". The Third Reich, having attacked the USSR, was inferior to us in tanks and aircraft many times, but the Germans demonstrated an excellent interconnection of the branches of the armed forces, their military doctrine of tank wedges from Guderian. Where can one find smart, creative generals for a modern army, who now understands how Russia should be defended, that it will not be like in Syria, or in Chechnya and Afghanistan (local wars against militants, a specific geographic environment)? We have new "platforms", the brainchild of General Makarov's doctrine under Serdyukov, with a compact army in an "anti-terrorist" war, under friendship with the United States. They covered the monsters, for counter-guerrilla actions, with two-story "Boomerangs", probably, it is good to scare the crowd, as a police technique, like the T-15, but is this a miracle necessary for a real war, the same question. Serdyukov is no longer in the army, but the "reforms" remain.

It’s hard to disagree with you. But the information component in local conflicts can be trained, of course, if it is created at the modern level, and not with the help of reconnaissance groups and informants. frontline bombers are not needed as high-altitude attack aircraft, and expensive calibers are not needed instead of guns and tornadoes. Given their radius of destruction, they get it, but where and when to shoot? We are waging a very irrational and expensive war in Syria by modern standards! And why? We don’t know how and cannot do it differently, and some don’t want to. And at the same time, they take into account bad experience and consider it good because it is combat ?!

and the loan day is near.

Aftir, Judgment Day is not about loans ...

The ability to watch any Internet user watch videos with the destruction of goals, the widespread use of shooters and strategies evoked the illusion of the simplicity of war.
Real war is much more complicated.
Your dreams (that's how I see a nerd playing with toys in glasses behind the monitor) were formulated forty years ago as reconnaissance-shock and reconnaissance-fire complexes, RUK and ROCK, respectively.
The idea is to exclude intelligence tools — intelligence agencies — headquarters — firing units — two headquarters — intelligence agencies and headquarters — from the data stream, or minimize the delay. It was seen as a powerful intelligence - an aircraft with a flight altitude of up to 20 m and a flight time of up to 000 hours, equipped with powerful optics and optional radars, in conjunction with satellite intelligence of all kinds and some kind of minimally involved processing center, a powerful communication system, and then everything is simple . Intelligence detects the enemy, data about the enemy is transferred to firearms, the chief nods, and almost in real time a blow is delivered. They tested it - a song, at a training ground in Nevada a tank company is detected with a probability of 12 percent and destroyed with the same probability by MLRS systems or called / on-duty aircraft, which, here's the beauty, flies with the entered coordinates of the goals and hurray! we won.
Worn with these HANDS and ROCKs as now with drones, well, they began to introduce them in Europe. And here the plug. It turned out that in a desert area, where 350 clear days a year and air transparency are close to ideal, everything works almost correctly, but in Europe with dense urban development and / or in a wooded and hilly area, with 8 ... 12 rainy days in month, and 10 days with clouds with a lower edge of 15 ... 100 meters, no one can find this tank company. Or instead of one tank company he finds three, and everything is not where the real company stands / rides.
The Middle East is also brilliant.
The first operation against Iraq, the Americans’ strike was terrible - dear mother, they destroyed two Iraqi tank forces on the first day! According to the results of the operation, all tanks released in the world, starting with the Somme. In the presence of all types of intelligence and in the polygon conditions of warfare.
The following operations for performance were no worse - two world tank releases!
And most importantly, everyone is confirmed - here is the picture, here it is in the IR range, here is the radar. You should read DARPA reports, sobs are continuous.

The intelligence work algorithm is always the same - collection, accumulation, processing, interpretation, presentation, implementation, assessment of implementation again through collection, accumulation, processing, interpretation.
There are so many criteria and they are so varied that until now automation - and rather weak - is possible only at the accumulation stage. Everything else is changeable, or see the results of the Gulf Wars.
Of course, automation is needed. But the approach to it degenerates into a desire "But you give us a system that will do everything by itself (see the data processing cycle), and we will be operators with glasses at the monitor under this system, and we will win everyone. Especially if drones.

PS The aviation took care of the first automation of the war with air defense. It would seem simple - the enemy himself shines into space with a powerful signal, aim and hit. They made an anti-radar missile, a whole family, the last in general fear and horror - four meters long, GSM, a dual-range head in the millimeter range, wings one and a half meters, it hits a squirrel not even in the eye, in the pupil of the eye, it costs a million dollars.
Two thousand spent in Iraq, in the presence of a fleet of all types of radars, about 200. And they destroyed a radar for a thousand ... And the radar for early detection of the Baghdad defense node flew destroyed at night from ATGM helicopters from a distance of 3 km ...

Well, according to reports, we destroyed the entire Wehrmacht personnel three times at one time ..... like in Chechen militants.
But the fact that this is an invaluable practice, not even in the fact that the combat work is being conducted, and not in firing practice, but most importantly - in the experience of the interaction of the whole complex of forces and means from analysts and intelligence to information support of the results - yes, no one teaching will never give such an experience.

Be it even Afghanistan, be it even Iraq. Who allowed Adolf to collectivize Europe and who allows the moderate opposition to collectivize now? Why did not high-class engineers and soldiers resist Adolf? They just let him in. Are the crowds of refugees in Europe not preparing for the collectivization of Europe? Who finishes ISIS today? Is this match-up called a fight? These Arab brigades with Turks and Americans play in the same team. Americans are fighting with ISIS. Where ISIS performs the role of combat units of the Americans. That is, they are fighting in the interests of the United States. The Nazis also fought in the interests of the United States. As a result, the Americans seized western Europe with the wrong hands. So with ISIS. With the show of victory over ISIS, they will establish their zone of occupation, and they will yell to the world about their victory over ISIS. And Japan, by and large, was not defeated by them. But here you go! Also occupied! ISIS cleans the territory under the United States. And direct contact on the battlefield is the loss of soldiers and equipment, they no longer fight. Combat experience is the best that can be for an army. Since it so happened that we need to defend Russia's national interests in faraway Syria, it means the army will work out everything that is possible on this theater

If Israel hadn’t been around ... We would have figured it out for a long time! ... But on the other hand, we can spite the USA and Israel to carry out their operations (under the nose and without asking permission ..?)))) Hezbollah is fighting perfectly ( although there are many losses .. but nothing ..)))

    Quote: Giant thought
Putin said everything correctly. In fact, we have a people and an army. And it is believed that if there is such a need, the army will fulfill its duty and protect the people from any aggressor.

For several years I have been reading your posts on VO. And for every post you want to ask and ask
one and the same question: "Did you serve in the Army?"
And today this is "...Putin said everything correctly. We actually people and army are one"just aroused affection. A paper slogan raised to the rank of a fetish. Let me plunge you into some factual documentary of real events that took place.
    1. Brusilovsky breakthrough of 1916. On the eve of the beginning. the headquarters of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (Nicholas II) called Brusilov and informed the command of His Excellency that the offensive had begun. Brusilov, knowing that the neighboring Front could start his offensive (towards the Brusilov Front) no earlier than 12 days later, refused to head this operation and asked to be relieved of his leadership. To which I received an answer that Their Excellency is deigned to rest (that is, they are sleeping / s /). How it all ended, you can easily find it on the Internet.
    2. I will delicately skip the war under the leadership of the "father of all peoples" in Spain, as well as with the White Finns, for the results are known. You can also find how many military commanders of different ranks were shot before the start of the Great Patriotic War on the Internet. I do not want to blame or, on the contrary, to defend Stalin in every possible way. My goal is to highlight the chain of the Troops - General Staff - Supreme Commander-in-Chief (with his retinue, that is, the Politburo, the Council of People's Commissars and other whispering servants on the ears). So was everything going well in this chain if the enemy troops were able to approach the walls of the capital in 4 months? And why did Stalin send Rokossovsky to Poland immediately after the war, and Zhukov to the Urals? Well, what about this chain of Troops - General Staff - Commander-in-Chief?
    3. Let's move on. Afghan. The Svita, who was provoking on the ears, got together and persuaded the Commander-in-Chief (at that time - Brezhnev) to send the Troops (that is, the People) to support the regime needed by the Politburo. in medicines, in a small change in living conditions (who did not have this housing at all), then the military registration and enlistment offices began to turn to the upper part of the chain, which made the decision to send the Troops (people) to Afghanistan, then the General Staff and the Supreme Command began to sculpt shy excuses. They say there is no money yet, but we are sure, we will always, but we have to wait ... And then the military registration and enlistment offices began to slowly kick off those in need, like "... We did not send you there." And then they even hung out, in essence, such a sign on the doors of the military registration and enlistment offices. Well, what about this chain?

      Well, how about this chain?

No way, the line of reasoning is the same with that nonsense that from the 90s all kinds of liberals and democrats have been carrying, all those who are now entrenched in the midst of the so-called belolentochnyh. The same message.
Walking around, they kicked everyone and everything, told all the famous myths, even those with some reasons, but the message itself, again from the category of a mustache, disappeared.

      4. Rust's flight on an airplane to Red Square. They spotted their crossing of the border, and accompanied them, only they were careful not to shoot them down. And why? Because the fundamental (and Correct, !!!) attitude to Unity of Command basically presupposes a command from above, and then someone forgot in this chain (either the General Staff, or the Chief Commander) and did not give the command. The result is a foreign plane on Red Square!?! It was here that the Troops began to think: "Who is in charge of us?" After all, the team (this is Holy !!!) should have been. Which is understandable of the two: A - "Shoot down", B - "Do not shoot down". And, if there was A, then why didn't they shoot down, and if there was B, then why were they removed from the posts of Commander-in-Chief of Air Defense, Chief of General Staff and a whole bunch of high-ranking officers ??? So the Troops began to understand that the top of the chain was the most unreliable link. And that in any situation they (the Troops) can again be thrown, as in the case of the Afghans. So seeds of doubt began to corrupt the Army. (And who was the Commander-in-Chief at that time? Correctly - "Marked", that is, Gorbachev. However, this is not so important. The important thing is that a man with a foulbrood inside. And who at that time served as Commander-in-Chief)

Continue (For the Giant Thoughts and the like).
        5. Caucasus, Chechnya. The Minister of Defense (Pasha - "Mesedes") decided to "steer", realizing that the Commander-in-Chief (that is, Borya - EBN) in the military sciences is "no boom-boom." So fervently, loudly "Yes, I will clean this Grozny with one airborne regiment in 2 hours!" Everyone saw how "sparkling" cleaned. How many guys did he kill when taking Grozny ... And the Pskov airborne company? Who answered for this?!?. But the retinue around the Commander-in-Chief did their best. And the Swan was connected (and what about - the people's "favorite"). And in the midst of a victorious offensive - a truce. Liberators of all stripes came running from all corners. Human rights, human rights ... What, sorry to ask, person? Maybe a soldier or a company commander of the Russian army. Schaaaz. "The innocent civilian population suffers" - so read the cheat sheet from the Kremlin corridors, drawn up by the advisers of the Supreme Commander himself. And hto have EBN advisers? Bah, all familiar faces (sincerely loving their Army and its soldiers, yeah): Borya Berezovsky and other Burbulis, Chubais, Kokhi and Kovalev. And coffins with the remains of soldiers and caravans of cripples went to the country. At the same time, the monthly salary of the commander of an aviation regiment was less than that of a tram driver in the capital of our Motherland. And they paid this allowance every few months. And the military guys put everything and laid their heads on the battlefield, when "at the top" everyone was busy "grabbing" factories, factories, steamers. And Yeltsin (at that time the Supreme Commander-in-Chief) was blown and blown in the ears, they say, what a wonderful and loyal guardian of the state he is. Duc, he even believed and cheered up. I felt like an impertinent military expert. I remember his pearls: "If there are 38 snipers, then each sniper has a target, the target moves, and he moves with his eyes, constantly .."
After all this, it finally became clear to the Troops that no top link in the chain of the Troops - General Staff - Supreme Commander was concerned with their life. If you die - so "women will still give birth", but if you remain crippled - get out yourself as you can. They even came up with a new slogan: "Who is it easy for now?"
Since that time, post-Gorbachev pessimism has turned into decline, bordering on complete moral decay.
        6. War 08.08.08. at midnight, Grad rockets rained down on the heads of the sleeping population of Abkhazia and on the helmets of soldiers of the Russian peacekeeping forces. Reports went upstairs immediately. The troops, as befits the fundamentalism of one-man command, were waiting for a command to respond. The Commander-in-Chief (at that time Medvedev) rode a steamer along the Volga. The only thing that he uttered was "You will take a closer look there, whether it is a provocation. Well, report it, Hourly." The Minister of Defense Serdyukov - Taburetkin could not be found for a whole day. The General Staff, by order of Taburetkin, moved at that time to another residence. Therefore, he began to control the troops in the orchestra pit (again, without having contact with Minister Taburetkin) using mobile phones. The only one who responded adequately to the command's request for response was Prime Minister Putin, who is in China. He issued the appropriate orders to respond to the aggression. Although he was no side to the troops (at that time), because the Commander-in-Chief and the Ministry of Defense with their General Staff should have been doing this. I think you know how events developed. How the commander of the group was wounded, how many our planes were shot down, how many graves of soldiers the Russian land took ... I was pleased only by the Mirage ship, bringing order to the sea.
Well, what about the chain, you ask. I will answer: as after Gorbachev-Yeltsin. Perplexity and pessimism. The army didn’t get an answer then why the prime minister got into command, and not those who were appointed by their duties: the Commander-in-Chief and the Minister of Defense.
        7. Syria, Our days. The army undoubtedly cheered up. First, the allowance. The regiment commander now receives significantly more than the Moscow tram driver. And no delays in payment. A sharp qualitative update of weapons and personal equipment gave a signal that the "top" still understood that it was necessary to fill in cement the crack of mistrust that was between the troops and the upper two echelons. But the genetic memory is all the same, because the "Teachers" were good. And who prevents to look further than the nose. Everything is in sight. Where, for example, pissed away the war 08.08.08. Storetkin? Duc, where is, on the board of directors of all sorts of profitable campaigns, well, there are "Helicopters of Russia, UEC, etc., etc. And where is his girlfriend Vasilyeva, who stole millions from the military budget? In prison? By no means, he writes poetry and does not wear anything. Refuses. And where is the former Commander-in-Chief Medvedev? So he is now the Prime Minister. By the way, who is housed in the retinue (nowadays it is fashionable to speak in a cage) at today's Commander-in-Chief? Amusing People, with interesting biography (and personal capital). and so on and so forth.
I could cite an example from this fall, when the new Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces Bondarev flew to the country where "Coolibers" frolic in the sky. However, I will beware, for my comrade, into whose office Bondarev casually dropped by, is still serving. I have already returned from the warm lands. Alive and healthy. I only lost weight. I fulfilled my task there with Excellent. All subordinates are also alive and well. Which is what I wish for all our Warriors.

Well, in conclusion, for the sake of which all this essay started. Your paper slogan (the people and the Army are united) "canals" only at the lower level of the chain of the Troops - General Staff - High Command. Yes, they will recruit defenders of the country from among the people. However, NEVER (in this mode) you will not see the sons of the Dvorkovichs, Abramovichs, Vekselbergs, Chubais and other leaders in power in the trenches of the front line (they are innumerable).
The country's defense capability depends on a single well-coordinated chain of Troops - General Staff - Glavkoverh. And, if everything will be honest in it (so as not to expect fraud), then our fighters will fight so that who the hell will defeat us. Only here life repeatedly suggests that there is a long road from dream to reality. and she also suggests that the General Staff and the Commander-in-Chief are often unjustifiably weak links in the indicated chain. Apparently this is the Russian Cross. Heavy, slippery and painfully insidious.
P.S. What would I like to tell you? Take off the pink glasses. Burn all the paper slogans (because they are invented by political technologists, calling themselves engineers of human souls, and in fact - former Komsomol activists who have found a path to the Feeding trough). And stop duplicating the slogan heresy. There, again, before the General of the Army, they jumped in their tireless labors to rewrite paper slogans. On my own behalf I will say that I would not want to see such generals in the Army. And if there was power, then I would refer to build such cosmodromes, all the good to the Fatherland was b. Then I take my leave.
