The country's election commission reported counting the 99% of ballots and provided the following data for this hour: Dodon is gaining more than 53% of the vote. The opponent of socialist Igor Dodon Maya Sandu, representing the so-called pro-European coalition, gains about 46% of votes.
At the same time, the central election commission is in no hurry to recognize the victory of Igor Dodon. The socialist candidate decided to announce his victory at the first direct presidential elections in Moldova in two decades. Recall that since 1996, the president in the country was elected in a narrow (parliamentary) format. I can say with confidence that we won this presidential election. Voting continues across the ocean. But at the moment we already got the 50% + 1 voice. We won.
