T-80 - the main battle tank, produced in the USSR. The world's first serial tank with a single gas turbine power plant. In service with the USSR Army with 1976 year. The first production models developed by SKB-2 based on the T-64 were produced at the Kirovsky plant in Leningrad.

It is in service with Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Cyprus and Pakistan. The T-80U tank was produced at the Omsktransmash plant in Omsk, and the T-80UD tank at the Malyshev factory in Kharkov. Modification of the T-80UD are Tanks T-84 and BM Oplot.
