The Su-25 assault bomber, though not at the forefront of technical progress, continues to be widely used throughout the world, writes National Interest. The American equivalent of the Su-25 is the A-10 attack aircraft, which is expected to be removed from the US Air Force from the 2022 of the year. In Russia, the Su-25 is undergoing serious modernization.

    The ceiling of the Su-25 and A-10 is approximately the same. The speed of the A-10 is only 722km per hour.

    A-10 is built around the gun. The Su-25 primarily uses unguided bombs and missiles.
