Activists of the Polish society "Kursk" restored a monument to Soviet tankmen

Recently, from Poland and the Baltic States if they come news about Soviet monuments, they are often associated with the demolition of monuments erected during the years of the existence of the socialist international. And now - uncharacteristic, frankly, the news from Poland. Information Service RIA News reports that local activists have restored a monument to Soviet soldiers-liberators near the Polish town of Golchevo.

We are talking about a monument erected in honor of the Soviet tankers who participated in the liberation of Poland from the Nazi invaders. The news agency cites a statement by the representative of the Polish social movement Kursk, Jerzy Tyca:

The monument is located in a small town on its outskirts. The town of Golczewo is the northwestern part of Poland, not far from Szczecin. The monument is dedicated to the crew of the Soviet tank, which was hit in this very place, the tankers all died. They were first buried, then after the war they reburied in another place, but the monument remained. After the advent of new power, the monument turned into ruins. Vandals stole all metal objects, shot down the coat of arms of the Soviet Union, stole a star. Then, due to atmospheric conditions, the monument turned into a terrible situation.

Activists of the Kursk Society together with the Kaliningrad participants of the Дор Roads of Memory rally in May 2016 of the year decided to restore the monument.

Jerzy Tyts:
We washed it, cleaned up the garbage. And I promised the participants of this rally that we will restore the monument. But we have different projects, large projects, and, of course, there is not enough money. And I appealed to the organizers of this race with a request to organize a fundraiser in the territory of the Kaliningrad region ... enough money was collected, these are 1,5 thousands of zlotys. This money handed me two days ago, well, everything, the monument is worth - beautiful again.

The Kursk Society is engaged in the restoration of another monument erected in memory of the soldiers-liberators. It is about a monument on the Oder River near the village of Mikolino (Poland). Fundraising for its restoration are engaged both in Poland and in Russia.

Good news! It’s just that somehow I can’t even believe what it can be in NATO, pro-American Poland!
One word - well done local Poles - activists of the Kursk society - and our Kaliningrad participants in the rally "Memory Roads"! And also all those who gave money to restore the monument to Soviet tankmen - the liberators of Poland from Nazi occupation!

Soon it means that this monument will fall into the black list of officials and it will be demolished by some kind of decree on "decommunization"

In Poland, as elsewhere, there are more normal people. Only politicians can brainwash anyone.

I can’t even believe it. Are there still adequate, in other words, normal, young people in Poland? I hope that these are indeed young people who did not fall for anti-Russian (anti-Soviet) propaganda. Thanks for the monument. It is now worth a lot.

If there were people in the Russian leadership who were kumming something in political history, it would have been possible to restore both the USSR and the Warsaw Pact for a long time. And it’s not that the VD - Ukraine and Georgia were lost.

I understand from your words that to restore the USSR everything depends on the leadership of Russia and no longer on someone else, if it turns out like the Soviet Union again, and so if then everything else again turns out to be the last one supposedly everything was forced?

What can I say .... Nothing! ..... Just take off my hat and bow before this man! A man with a capital letter!

Jerzy Tyts was a military man, then served in the police. Now he is engaged in farming. What prompted him to take up the restoration of Soviet monuments, at his own expense, in such a difficult time, not paying attention either to politicians or to modern slogans regarding Russia.

"During the war, my mother and her family lived on the territory of the present Mazovian Voivodeship. The Germans captured and killed her younger brother, he was only 16 years old. Your soldiers took all the children to the rear in a lorry and helped the adults to escape. Mom is now 85 years old. , and she instructed me to honor the memory of Soviet soldiers, "says Jerzy Tyts.

Thanks to such people, a place remains in the heart for faith in a happy poor!

By the way, I had to meet Poles this year - they are normal men! They say openly that the politicians are "acting out", and the population, especially along the border with the Kaliningrad region, strongly regrets the complication of the situation in connection with the sanctions.

and this is in the north of Greece in the city of Florina, though they still work in the photo, but it's been a long time. It is already ready. It is a monument to Russian soldiers who died during the war for the independence of Greece in the WWI of 1916. their eternal memory and honor. worthy people left a worthy story after themselves.
