UEC: Ukrainian components for Yak-130 are completely replaced by Russian ones

JSC United Engine Corporation (UEC) completely replaced the Ukrainian components for the engine of the Yak-130 aircraft, reports press office Rostec.

UEC: Ukrainian components for Yak-130 are completely replaced by Russian ones

The company recalls that Ukrainian enterprises produced about 50% of the necessary components for the AI-222-25 turbojet engine.

“Now this engine (AI-222-25) is completely manufactured by the Salyut gas turbine-building NPTS from Russian components produced by the head enterprise in Moscow and the Omsk branch”,
said UDC Deputy Director General Vitaly Klochkov.

It is noted that “UEC is currently working on another key project - an engine for civil aviation PD-14, which is scheduled to be launched into mass production in 2018. "

The head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, at a meeting with Vladimir Putin, said that “the first stage of testing the PD-14 engine is now coming to an end.”

“I hope that if they succeed, in 2016 – 2017 we will complete all the tests and in 2018 we will start mass production,” he added.

“The main machine for equipping this engine is the newest Russian airliner MC-21, which was presented on 8 on June 2016 of the year. In the future, the installation of the PD-14 is possible on the Sukhoi Superjet 100 and IL-76 transport planes, ”the report says.

It is interesting that, in anticipation of changes in Ukraine, our leadership in the year 12 began the so-called import substitution for helicopter engines. But somehow you didn’t guess on planes?

        and sho .. still driven?

According to the deputy director of the Rosvertol plant Vadim Barannikov, the company completely refused to purchase helicopter engines of the Ukrainian manufacturer Motor Sich and switched to Russian-made engines.

One more step towards independence from "nezalezhnaya", and from anyone else. This Yak 130 is such a double bottom airplane. When I found out that 3 tons of combat load could be hung on this kid, I greatly respect him. And the fact that there is no locator - so on the MiG 17 it was not there either, but in the role of attack aircraft they worked properly.

      "... AI-222-25F has an afterburner"
"... The AI-222-25 and AI-222-28 engines can be equipped with thrust vector control systems. Depending on the aircraft design, the system can provide both an all-aspect deflection of the jet stream up to 20 degrees from the engine axis, and other options. "

A radar is not needed on a combat training aircraft. In principle, of course I need it, I was deceiving, but in this segment only Koreans put radar and then Israeli, which significantly increases the price of the aircraft.

Yes, Soviet integration has been making itself felt for 25 years. But who knew that the same Partyigenosses, who "stood with their breasts" for Soviet power, would not only give this power, but also curse it, knocking themselves on the chest and competing who would break the party card first.

I can imagine what kind of "movement" began on Salyut and other specialized mailboxes in connection with the urgent need to replace engine parts, the same whole units must be practically installed from scratch. Recruiting people, designing assemblies, assembly lines, training, etc. The impulse is powerful.

the same whole nodes must be installed from scratch practically. People recruit, design nodes, assembly lines, training, etc.

The most important thing is to recruit people ... after the liberalization of the economy, people do not go to the machine tool and drawing board, all the old cadres, "young people" now become adventurer lawyers and economists (I am not talking about these at all) or, in extreme cases, into the service sector and sale. They destroyed our economy with high quality and for a long time, successfully got hooked on the purchase of imported components, trying to force us to trade only in raw materials.

there are still going to manufacture ship gas turbines. won’t even install equipment with NPO Saturn. I’m wondering, will they master it? God forbid, of course, that they would have mastered it, in vain did they leave Saturn only as a developer. there will still be more experience, especially with regard to gas turbines.

And it’s good that everything is ours on the engine — now someone will not litter our brains and blackmail them with spare parts. To restore the entire aviation industry so that on planes no less than 95 percent of the filling was ours.

It seems to me that this is not just a breakthrough, but simply hands reached. For the giant military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, replacing the accumulated production of all Yak inside the country could not present a technological problem.

The masters of Ukraine do not need engines, spaceships, rockets and aircraft manufacturing. Everything is logical. Hungary, after the EU came, became like Romania. They released buses, automatic gearboxes, confectionery, vegetables, a new owner comes and buys the enterprise and closes. Now, like everywhere else, Mars , Snickers, Coca-Cola and horseradish find a job

    Why not 100?

Honestly, there is such a dream for Russia to become completely independent of high-tech imports ...
But this was not destined to come true ... Even in Soviet times, having their own enormous potential, they bought machines, lines, and technologies in certain industries and directions ...

I still can’t understand how Ukrainians can own property rights to the Klimovsky engine of TV 3-117. It is clear that after the collapse of the USSR, production remained in Ukraine, but this hardly gives the right to technical support and make changes to the design. Otherwise In the case, we should not have problems, for example, with the support of the AN-124.And they are. PD-14, to bring to mind, is now perhaps even more important than the MS-21.

there is a complex subject of law. Since in the USSR it was all common.
As for Anov - so Antov just led the service in the international arena. And the owner of the brand Antonov.
about the Yak engine. As far as I remember Ivchenko Progress began developing an engine with an afterburner. For the Chinese, this was done earlier (by the same enterprise)
A similar one was needed under the Yak (there would otherwise have been an alteration of the glider)
As for Ivchenko and MS with a similar engine, they sold more like AI-222K-25 or Ivchenko Progress AI-222K-25F to China.
I recall that the market share of the Russian Federation in MS in 2013 was 30% and not critical. And it was shrinking. Yes, this is a big loss. But not deadly.
