US is trying to "not miss" Turkey

32
The foreign ministers of Turkey and the United States during a telephone conversation discussed the extradition of the preacher Fethullah Gulen, whom official Ankara is called the creator of the plan of the Turkish coup. It is reported that John Kerry announced his readiness to examine in detail the documents provided by Ankara as "irrefutable evidence" of Gülen’s involvement in the development of the coup.

At the same time, the prosecutor's office of the Turkish province of Ushak announced the completion of the pre-trial investigation of the financial activities of the Fethullah Gulen FETÖ / PDY movement. The indictment was placed right on the 2527 pages of the most extensive document. The prosecutor’s office accuses Gülen and his associates on various articles of the Turkish Penal Code, including such as “Financing of terrorism”, “Attempting to overthrow the government”, “Attempting to change the constitutional order”, etc.

Information Agency Anadolu reports that prosecutors are demanding that Gülen be sentenced to:
a) two life sentences in a strict regime colony;
b) to a prison term of 1900 years;
c) a fine equivalent of 2 million 210 thousand thousand workdays.

And all this at the same time ...

Recall that the preacher Gulen resides in the United States and categorically denies any involvement in the attempted military coup in Turkey. Earlier, the US authorities said they would not extradite Gulen to Ankara. However, after the warming of relations between Turkey and Russia in Washington, it was said that Gulen’s extradition at the request of Turkish law enforcement and judicial authorities is not excluded.

It became known that Vice President Joe Biden is preparing for a visit to Turkey.

        They will not give out. Otherwise, the precedent will be and the image will lose. Others will stop being afraid.

          You wanted to say they’re no longer afraid. )))
          There will be a precedent and others will begin to fear that the United States may issue them.

        They will not give back alive, they can tell a lot of interesting things. But in the form of a kopromis, it is easy to give out the body of a deceased from a "serious senile disease".

      Will have to choose.
      Question rhetorical from a series:
      "- how to eat a fish, and not be late for the bus ..."
      Maybe there are specialists in the state business.
      We will see another Hollywood thriller.

      Turkey is the main outpost of NATO. It was not for nothing that he caused the Caribbean crisis and an attempt to overthrow Erdogan. If the Turks do not want to host a US base, then all of NATO will crawl at the seams.

      Yeah, Gülen in Turkey will not be sweet, will be sentenced to 2000 years of life execution bully .
      I just remembered a beautiful Soviet film, I don’t remember the name exactly, but the plot is as follows: a repeat offender stole the helmet of Alexander the Great and hid it. To find this helmet, a double is planted with the offender’s friends. In this film, the professor of history tells about the punishment that existed in the old days in the Ottoman Empire and which seems more humane to me than the current terms that threaten Gulen if he is extradited. In the film, the professor talks about a very interesting punishment that was practiced in medieval Turkey - they put a criminal in a barrel of human waste am , and above him stood a janissary with a scimitar, only the head of the criminal and sticking out of the barrel
      .And the janissary waved from time to time and drove the scimitar at the level of the edge of the barrel, so if the prisoner did not have time to dive into the barrel with der ... der, his head flew off his shoulders. fellow .As they say, whoever didn’t hide, I’m not to blame!

          Well, I'm not calling for this type of punishment in Russia, I note that this type of punishment, for all its savagery at first glance, was more humane than the 1900 years of imprisonment offered to Gulen. Erdogan probably thinks that Gulen is Duncan Macleod from the clan of immortals! And the ancient Turkish punishment is calculated to awaken conscience in a criminal and after such a shame as dipping into a barrel with d ... he would no longer commit a crime. The bloody "regime" of the Ottoman sultans, in fact, is not so "cannibalistic" as the current regime of Erdogan.

        The name of the film "Gentlemen of Fortune" should be remembered by anyone born in the USSR. And not only the name, but also those catchwords that sounded from the screen. Well, and let the "radishes" be "whipped" with or without Gulen, until they "have torn their mouths and gouged out their blinkers."

          Thank you for reminding the name of the movie good, now a person dangles so much on business that much is forgotten! And the film is beautiful, I still watch it, although I have seen it more than once.

      No way ... Actually, American diplomats never knew how to get out - it's not theirs. They either bombed or bought. And here we were lucky with the situation.
      They can’t bomb (or rather they tried - it didn’t work - the coup failed), but to buy ... Buying for the USA is now a little expensive. And to buy Erdogan we just need to let tourists in and open a market for fruits and vegetables, and even those that cannot be grown in Russia are enough. That is, for us, the purchase of Erdogan is free of charge.
      But we must always understand that Turkey is not our brother, not a friend or even an ally. So a profitable investment.

        They hope precisely for this: that they will not surrender. Otherwise, all their governments around the world, and about one and a half hundred, will cease to obey them. Too expensive.

    Mattresses will never be given out to Gulen, otherwise they will start to mess, liberals from all states will feel their vulnerability and insecurity from the punishment of those states that they betrayed, which means if the mattresses of traitors are surrendered, then who will work for them?

    Not. They will pull, talk, discuss, 10 years will reveal concern, but will not surrender.

    Gulen will not be extradited to the United States. Why would they have to give out a world-famous preacher? Moreover, he also opposes terrorism, he is extremely authoritative and popular in circles close to the US President. There is no confirmation of his participation in the military coup in Turkey. In order to renew friendly relations between the United States and Turkey, Erdogan will be attracted by this "candy", but he will not be allowed to eat it!

    Gülen will be given away, it’s like the American way to merge who is not needed, but with Russia it is more difficult: - Here the Turks have "love with interest here they have a rookery" (V.S. Vysotsky.)

    In addition to the options to surrender or not surrender Gulen, the United States also has a third - to overthrow Erdogan. Since for them this option is most acceptable, they will continue to work in this direction. Like with Assad.
