Who pays and who pays?
Dozens of young girls, who have stolen the last bright years of childhood, appeared before us on the video, filmed by militants "Boko Haram" - an Islamist group that advocates a ban on secular education. Schoolgirls were abducted 14 on April 2014 in Chibok (Nigeria). Islamists believe that girls have nothing to do with education, they need to “get married” - and some hostages have already been given into terrible slavery. A few more girls were lucky - they managed to escape. Before the rest - very few people in the world have a deal. Instead of a true struggle against terrorism, the powerful of this world prefer to tell horror stories about the “insidious Assad”.
The Boko Haram group, starting in March 2015, considers itself to be the “West African province of the Islamic State” (an organization banned in Russia). Formally rejecting Western values, the Islamists swore allegiance to the terrible creation of the current West (especially the United States). It was the West that destroyed Iraq and generously fed the “Syrian opposition”, as a result of which “ISIS” (or “IG” or “DAISH” was formed, whatever you call it).
Meanwhile, another girl - the victim of the Islamists - was able to save in Syria. Employees of the Syrian Red Crescent Society evacuated seven-year-old Guin Kuwaidar from the city of Madaya. Now she is in Damascus hospital. The girl was wounded in the leg as a result of a showdown between the terrorists. For two days the militants refused to give the injured to the rescuers.
In the Syrian province of Hama, militants of the “opposition” (and, moreover, both radical “Dzhebhat An-Nusra” and “moderate” “Ahrar ash-Sham”) fired at the largest power station “Az-Zara”. As a result, many localities were left without electricity. According to such “oppositionists”, the world should be without light, and without teaching.
And it is precisely in order that the terrorists do not implant such “values” in Russia that the operation of the Russian Federation in Syria is needed today. Yes, many criticize this operation, saying that “guys are dying for nothing”. But what to do if the “world community” does not fight terrorists, but continues to supply them with everything they need?
It is to ensure that such "oppositionists" do not rule in the streets of Russian cities, and we need a military base of the Russian Federation in Syria. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said: “Our base is there to fight bandits on distant approaches. Syria as a magnet attracts supplies weapons Absolutely from all territories. I know what I'm talking about. ”
And this position of Russia does not give rest to many in Washington. Last week, the former deputy head of the CIA, Michael Morell, unequivocally stated that “Russia must pay” for its actions in Syria. On the air of the American television channel CBS, he called for the Russians to be killed, as well as the Iranians. According to him, this must be done in secret. Morell also called for more active support for the militants of the “Syrian opposition” in order to increase pressure on Syria, Russia and Iran and to achieve a “diplomatic settlement”. By “diplomatic settlement”, this “hawk”, of course, means overthrowing the legitimate leadership of Syria.
Morell's words that Russia and Iran must pay for the fact that Americans were killed in Iraq look especially cynical. “When we were in Iraq, the Iranians gave weapons to the Shiite militia that killed American soldiers,” he said.
Only this American leader seemed to have forgotten that the United States justified its invasion of Iraq with the need to protect Shiites from the “evil Sunni” of Saddam Hussein!
Of course, one can say that such statements by a retired figure mean nothing, that even the US State Department does not take them seriously. But in the light of the upcoming presidential elections in the United States, it becomes clear that if Hillary Clinton wins them, it is this kind of figures with their bloodthirsty remarks that will really determine Washington’s policy.
Moreover, the current CIA director John Brennan is not far from Morella: at the end of July, he directly stated that "the conflict in Syria will not end until Bashar al-Assad is in power." Speaking at a security forum in the city of Aspen, Colorado, Brennan repeated the beloved US bullshit: "Assad is not part of the future of Syria, and while he is in power, people will die."
“We continue to work with Russia, trying to convince her that a political path to the future of Syria is necessary, and there is no military solution,” says the current CIA director, although the States have always advocated a military solution. Otherwise, why would they all the time supply arms to the "opposition"? Not to mention the fact that the threat of direct aggression against ATS, which sounded clearly in August 2013, continues to hang with the Damocles sword over the heads of the Syrians.
US Secretary of State John Kerry also believes that "Russia should increase pressure on the leadership of Syria." Under the same peace-loving talk about the "need for a truce" Kerry pushes all the same idea - to remove the president of Syria.
The head of the Syrian state himself, Bashar Al-Asad, recently said in response to the question whether he fears a deal between the Russian Federation and the United States: “Russian policy is not based on deals. It is based on values. ”
It is precisely for this that in the US government circles the policy of Russia causes such hatred, up to and including direct appeals to kill the Russians.
By the way, in the presidential election Morell supports Hillary Clinton. Apparently, he cannot stand to put his words into practice.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, agreed with the words of the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump that “Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are the creators of the Islamic State.”
Of course, it is impossible to unequivocally say that with the victory of Donald Trump the bloody war in Syria will immediately stop. Of course, even in this case, there will be a serious struggle at the top of the United States over the future policy of Washington in the Middle East. It is enough to remember that Barack Obama, when he came to power, promised to make every effort for peace in this region, but in fact it was under him that the whole East abruptly broke out, Libya was bombed out and the Syrian war began.
But, at least, one can expect at least the fact that, under Trump, any Michaelle Morellae out there will not influence the leadership policy. While in the case of Hillary's victory, it is precisely the position of such figures that will be in demand more than ever.
In the meantime, Americans continue to pay the "Syrian opposition." And paying for this criminal policy and peaceful Syrians, and Russian soldiers who are fighting terrorism, and even citizens of other countries not involved in the Syrian conflict, but forced to endure the actions of ISIL-related militants. Even innocent Nigerian girls are paying off, who would hardly have been kidnapped if it had not been for the rise of the Islamists thanks to American foreign policy adventures.
