The most amazing machine engineering troops

32
Engineering vehicles build roads, dig ditches and ditches, clear rubble and build bridges. And if you put them in armor or put on tank chassis, they will be able to go through minefields, as if on a plowed field. The most amazing, powerful and peaceful models of military equipment in the rating "PM".

The most amazing machine engineering troops

Tank bridge laying machine M60 AVLB

This is probably the most famous car of its kind: in less than 8 minutes it can build a bridge with a length of 18 meters, through which 60-ton machines can pass. He inherited the armor from the M60А1 battle tank, so he can go alongside the combat vehicles, allowing them to overcome anti-tank ditches and small rivers.

Self-propelled ferry EFA

This French car is a folding ferry on a wheeled chassis. By hooking up a few pieces, you can get a full-fledged pontoon bridge through which heavy equipment will pass.

TMK

Digging trenches is much more effective not with a shovel, but with the wheel of such a Russian (Soviet) TMK trench machine. At the disposal of the infantry, as a rule, small shovels (those that are called deminers in everyday life), which they dig slowly and hard. TMK will do what the motorized infantry unit digs out in a day's 2 − 3 in 20 minutes.

And there are pontoons, the UR-77 mine clearing vehicle, the IMR-2 clearing vehicle, BATs and many useful things.

Thanks to the author, of course, but ... it’s too small, there was a lot to show, I probably hurried. I would love to read about other cars that are truly amazing, including plowing at the bottom of the sea.

In addition to modern ones, it would be interesting to learn about the first trenchers, bridge layers, etc.

      IMHO the most impressive car:

In general, civil engineering machines have stepped forward so much that military equipment smokes nervously on the sidelines. hi

MDK is especially cool at work. He himself witnessed how the operator of the car was carried away, she dug such a foundation pit that she herself sat there. Can be controlled by the way with a remote wired remote!

There are many machines useful in earthmoving, but as a rule, "three soldiers and a shovel replace an excavator". I have never seen TMK in my life, although I had to dig more than one hundred trenches, parapets and OP.

Yes, in general, nothing particularly impressive))) An ordinary kompelvak with a manipulator, a cultivator and an unloading hopper instead of a barrel hi It would be strange if no one had thought of this before))) The basis here and there is one - a vacuum pump hi

Huge vacuum cleaner)). An interesting thing, with a bucket you can damage pipes and other communications, but this does not. I saw something similar only on the railway. Crushed stone collected on the tracks.

If I am not mistaken, this is an analogue:

            https://autoreview.ru/articles/gruzoviki-i-avtobusy/tugan-yagym

yes, the drive motor is American Cummins (though made in China), and the vacuum pump and safety valves are Slovenian ...
            But they are localizing slowly.

Seen it. In our city, year 3 already works, only on the basis of Scania.
Professor - I can make a couple of comments on your previous post. Military engineering equipment does not "smoke" on the sidelines. Who better than you to know that military equipment has special requirements and sometimes what is good in civilian life is not always good in the army. The same PZM is now, as they say, in a trend. It is quite enough for certain tasks. Here is the amount of this technique - wow, what needs to be corrected, and its condition wants to be better.

So it was before. Today, the quality of civilian technology is not inferior to military models, and sometimes even surpasses it. A civilian bulldozer plows 24/7 and creates a military model on its basis, and not vice versa.

Understood nothing ... Where is the article? Micro-notes on three models of equipment, and 2 of them, Western, are inferior in characteristics to our counterparts. These are not the amazing machines of the engineering troops. And according to the level of the "article" one gets the impression that the author is telling a "fairy tale about a goat" to preschool children, or Pin.dosovsky ochwitzers (they are equal in terms of intelligence development).

I was always amazed at this kind of technology, that's Cinderella of the sun. Nobody shows them, and they can do amazing things, and even under enemy fire. People sitting at the levers of these working monsters are master fans. Not a single engineer who created these wonderful machines was ever heard, nor films, nor stories. We learn about classifieds after many years, about these neither before nor before.
